Your grow is amazing. half way through mine right now. Anyone have the perlite go brown from fox farm nutes?

Here is the closest I can get to a close up bud shot with my current cam and magnifying glass.

Harvest picturesToday marked day 59 of flower, I finished the harvest on the two Pacific Aires (Priscilla pheno). I had already harvested around a zip between the two previous chops one on the 21st and another on the 25th. I still filled 3 coat hangers plus. The empress is getting a few extra days, depending.

    Final Update?

    Hey Saxby,

Thanks for doing the thread! I was noticing that it's been a month since the last harvest post and was wondering what your final haul and Hempy impressions were? Will your next grow be a Hempy? I remember you saying you were hopeful for your best yield thus far, did it happen?

    Just curious, great job!!!

    Peace

I have a question I hope you Hempy growers can answer for me. I'm going to try this method with one of my young plants. I stopped by the nursery today and picked up a bag of perlite and vermiculite. I currently have three plants in 4" net cups with hydroton balls in a DWC bucket. If I do a 50/50 perlite/vermiculite mixture in a 3 gallon bucket, do you think I can just carefully put the 4" net cup, plant, roots and all straight into the hempy bucket and leave it that way. There is no way I can remove the plant from the cup at this point without some heavy duty root damage. I would fill the bucket up 3/4 of the way, and with one hand suspend the cup even with the top of the bucket and then fill in all around the roots with the other hand until only the plant and the very top of the cup is showing. Do you think this would be successful?

Hey AJ That should work just fine. You may notice the growth slow down for about a week untill the roots start growing again... I look forward to some pictures later.... :)

    Thanks. :notworthy:

    I meant 4/1 perl/verm...not 50/50:rolleyes2:

I think I'll try it with my new clone...one , I know it's female and two, the roots are much less developed and it should not endure as much stress.

What water PH are you guys feeding at? I've been setting my water at 5.8, but only because that's what I was doing with my DWC. I haven't seen any references to water PH levels.

    Ph

According to the original thread by Hempy...

"as far as checking your PH well the only time you need to do that is when you mix your nutes i like useing a PH of 6.2"

Hempy Bucket Method can be applied to Organic Soil...

    :punk:

This thread kickz arse! I'm learnin' somethin' new here everyday! I have a 2" layer of perlite in my 5gal potz.....with a "snap on" drainage platter. Today is watering day fer me. I water by feel...I have no way of knowing if I over watered or not. If I applied the Hempy Method...drillin' a hole 2" above the base(right a the level of the perlite).....in my pots....then this would we kinda like a passive organic hydro type of hempy...y'think?

    :punk:
