different cultures is right....even for me, we have duty to retreat here also..Zimm didn't

you have to look at facts, if TM threw the first blow, or if you think TM was on top beating Zimm then you have to acquit by law...no other option but not guilty cause that's the law.

The evidence shows both those facts are true. And in America all you have to have is reasonable doubt, you don't have to prove innocent, just show it could have happened this way and the defense did that

If that is pure fantasy land shit, then I don't know what to make of you fear of assault rifles as it's a fact that you are much more likely to be beaten to death then to get shot by a rifle, let alone an assault rifle

All rifle (including assault) deaths: 323

    Beating deaths : 728

No, you don't have to acquit. I'd be voting guilty of something, no matter the "facts". It's a moral obligation to do what you think is right. No matter what that fucked up law says. Some laws should be opposed. Likewise, if I was on a jury for someone charged with a mj offense, I would vote not guilty no matter what.

But nippie we only have Zimmermans word for a lot of this. How do we know he didnt get out his car and gesture as if he was packing or even say summit that told TM he was armed and TM went on the offensive? Evidence isnt everything either. I had ZERO dna on the weapon,ZERO prints so the forensics concluded i hadnt handled it and that it couldnt possibly have came from my house. Then i stood up and gave evidence saying i did handle it and it had came from my house. To me that said forensics aint all its cracked up to be. Also, its totally possible to disarm a guy with a gun without being chuck norris. If the guy with the gun isnt sure of himself and the other guy is,if the guy with the gun doesnt actually want to shoot someone cos he knows he was told to stop following then it makes sense hes gonna brandish the weapon with the intention of not using it.Thats a dangerous thing to do. People brandish knives in Glasgow all the time but have no intention of using them, they hpe by simply brandishing it that they will scare the other person away but 9 times out of 10 then end up getting overpowered cos they dont have the conviction.

I dont wanna speculate too much cos that just muddies the waters but sure its possible he let TM know he had a gun and TM still put him on his ass. If someone follows me and then gets out a car trying to fuckin stop me and if he gestures hes got a weapon and i KNOW hes not a cop then im putting that sucker on his arse as quick as look at him. No offence nippie but you guys worship them damn guns too much man:sad4:. Its as if people think if they have a gun they are untouchable. Of course you could smack someone on their ass even if they had a gun or MAYBE TM saw him reaching for a gun after they exchanged words and that gave him a chance to "sucker punch" zimmerman, they both go down and zimmerman finally draws and discharges his weapon:ponder:

We'll never know. All we do know is none of this woulda happened if zimmerman had just stayed in his car and followed 911 instructions. Again though i reiterate my belief its NOT a murder. Doesnt mean hes blameless though:2c:

Same over here, reasonable doubt is all you need. The onus is on the accusers to prove beyond doubt you did it.The accused has no obligation to prove he didnt do it ,only to raise credible doubt on the prosecutions allegations. But at the same time nippie, there was a guy in Scotland called Nat Fraser who has been tried THREE times for murdering his wife. Her body was never found and he has a cast iron alibi for when she vanished. Hes been found guilty then appealed and aquitted from the UK supreme court but then a scottish court tried him again in 2011 and found him guilty again. The trial premiered on tv last week in a 2hr episode and from where im sitting it sounds like his best mate did it.His mate even owns a farm where they boil cattle to get rid of their bones and shit.Maybe thats why she was never found. But if a Jury believes media hype and thinks a guy is guilty as hell then who cares what the laws say their gonna go with their morals and personal judgement. THIS IS THE RISK WITH A JURY. Whats that shit called over there, jury nullification? Does that apply possibly:ponder:

Zimmerman is a self proclaimed wanna be cop. A drunk, who was out looking for 'the bad' guy's. MURICA! He found a child that fit his description of what bad guy's look like. Hell as a bonus, it was a child. An easy win for the wanna be cop/drunk, right? Then he will show them...he can prove he has the right stuff to be a cop.

Well, no. He ignored more than once the dispatch request to not follow the kid. He stalked the un-armed child, more than likely taunting him, and when the kid 'stood his ground' and started whooping the drunks ass, he killed him. He stalked and killed an un-armed child. There is no defense for that. b4e

child? so I guess our military is horrible because they arm "children" the same age and teach them to kill

If he was drunk, he'd be in jail already. no drugs or alcohol suspected, passed voice stress test, evidence backs his claims.

I guess we are to believe someone whom admitted she lied during her interviews with police, and only now after coaching from TM's families attorney's said that she told him to run and heard the confrontation? Really? Now she's telling the truth? She didn't think those facts were "important" at the time of the investigation to determine if they should make an arrest? Really?

Every last piece of evidence backs Zimm's story, his story never changed, the witness accounts back his claims, but we should dismiss everything because an admitted liar promises she's telling the truth now (not like she's trying to get money from the estate or anything when they do the trial again in civil court).

And if all Zimms past is relevant, why not TMs'? Why not the fact they caught him with criminal tools and women's jewelry in school. Why not the fact that he stated he was a "wild as nigga"...or the fact he tweeted guns and was trying to buy one. Why not the fact that he beat up his school bus driver recently and bragged about it?

That's right, he was just Opie walking home from skipping rocks at the pond:passsit:

about the backgrounds...exactly they attacked Zimms so why not let innocent little opie's background into this. What's fair is fair

And yes, I'm speaking about the Racist Goblin he called a girlfriend that lied about everything...but now she sees a payday...money money money...and she knows exactly what happened. BS

They can convict on manslaughter today, no additional trial is needed, but even if he is convicted, he's winning on appeal because of the judge's BS she pulled in front of the jury and some of the other one sided shit she's pulled.

In the US, you can't be retried if you get acquitted.

WTF? Did that lawyer really just stroll across the court with a fucking slab of concrete and tell the jury "who says he wasnt armed" Shit man you guys have much more entertaining court cases than us! Our closing speeches are very lowkey plea affairs.Certainly cant stroll about court with a slab of concrete!! Brilliant:thumbsup:

Whats this gy talking about saying "self defence is a defence to EVERYTHING.....to littering,to gran theft auto, arson" Yeah i burned a building down and killed everyone in it cos the concierge punched me:5eek: Jeez this lawyers not to convincing:eek:

OOOooh he finished with a bad line "Let this gentlemen get back to his life" Thats the WORST thing you can say when theres someone else who cant return to their life. That lawyer wasnt too inspiring but maybe the prosecutor sucks too. BTW nippie what did that guy mean when he was talking about either the prosecution or some guy who was shouting "assholes".I missed that part?

I cant call it ,thats why iv not voted in this poll. I really cant call it at all. I dont beleve the guy is a murderer so if the question was "Is he guilty of murder?" then my answer is NO. If they then asked me,as a juror, if hes guilty of accidental killing then im inclined to say yeah. The guy simply shouldnt have been following and profiling TM. But i can tell TM isnt all goody goody too.I wish id watched this case from day one though i admit that:thumbsup: I LOVE watching USA trials!

What he saying is what ever action you do to save your life is legal, say you are locked up in someone's home...you kick the door down to leave, kicking a door down is vandalism and a felony in most states, but you did it to protect yourself.

The prosecutor was referring to the fact that Zimm said asshole when he was talking to the cops..."those assholes always get away"...defense was mocking him because that's what States entire case is based on, the fact that Zimm thought he was following a criminal....and he was :5eek:

AND if you don't think he's guilty of flat out murder, then you acquit. Same as attorney was saying, if you think Zimm was hurt, if he got hit, then you have to acquit....the law is the law on this and it's extemely clear
