my attempt, but it doesn't count... I don't think i'll ever do this again, lol. I was very frustrated by the size towards the end. Lots of work. Imagine having three of these to contend with at the same time!
That would be a recirculating system you are now disqualified lol :mashed: I am game for this 1 Critical Mass vegged April/May inside then put out side June 1st finish will be the end of Sept first week of Oct.
Recirculation within the confines of a 5 gal bucket is permissible. :mashed: Sounds like it'll be quite a contender for size! asssit:
Well the basic guideline of the thread is to grow out of a 5 gal bucket. If you wanna make a recirc system out of a single bucket then throw down. :bong-2:
I'm confused..... So if you wanted to you could use a single 5 gal bucket hooked to a reservoir???? as long as it's just 1 bucket??? That makes no sense. If that's the case then you should be able to use any recirc system and just choose 1 bucket as your entry. Or am I missing or misunderstanding something?
I think the point is a self contained 5 gal. bucket. So no external ressy's, no controller buckets, no buckets within buckets etc. And what is the goal again? Just to show different results? Or are we trying for biggest yield, best looking plant, etc etc?
I lack the housing situation fit for growing so im out regardless. Seems odd to oust anything attached to a res...whats the point of not including peeps using a res or control bucket?
^ This. A little of both, for the competitve folks post your yield #'s etc. and aesthetics are to be judged by thread participants (meaning posters, you don't have to enter to comment lol) GG - The reasoning behind the parameters is that it's fairly easy to participate, grab a bucket, dirt and a cutting at the bare minimum if you want. There's also the option of pushing your plant/bucket as hard as you can if you like, it's as challenging as the participant cares to make it really. 1 bucket for your rootzone, media and nute solution so a seperate ressy is kinda cheating. :mashed:
Let's see more buckets!!! Here's mine at 10 days, the roots that have made it to the water are fishboning now and growth continues to accelerate.
cough cough. I'll toss up some pics of my soil buckets tomorrow. DWC bucket is gonna be a bit behind.
