to the jungle - Day 16 flower


So, here's how things are looking in my little jungle, day 16 of flower.


First a couple group shots:








Here's Sour Cali (PoTY pheno) x Super Silver Haze. She's a beaut. Lovely structure, nice internodals, TONS of bud sites. She's already forming some trichomes, so I'm thinking she'll be a very frosty decent yielder.

Dude they look awesome. Crazy healthy plants. Yeah, I got the same buckets from the same place lol. Those are huge plants for those containers, you must be watering daily, maybe every 2 at the most? But seriously, nice job they look great :thumbs-up:

 

LarryBerry - day 16 flower


Here are the LarryBerry girls, aka LB aka Lanky Bitches. They're all tall and stretchy, as would be expected from a cross of their lineage, a DJ Short Blueberry male crossed to a Lemon Larry OG female... Both stretchers.


Girl #1 and girl #2 are the oldest and biggest, and they are almost identical viewed side by side. They'll be needing support later in flower, as I'm told by a friend who has run this cross that they will get very top-heavy. I'm ok with that! :thumbs-up: Here's Lanky Bitch #1:











Here's Lanky Bitch #2:











Lanky Bitch #3 is the stretchiest. I don't know if this is because she was smaller when put into flower or whatever, but her side branching is super stretchy and she will definitely not be much of a yielder. I really don't expect any of these LB's to yield much, but if I end up with a couple oz's dry off each one I will be happy.

You're right, they are huge for the containers they're in, and they shall be transplanted into some 3's or 5's this coming weekend. They're all drinking about 1/2 gallon of water every 3 days, as I like to let them get good & dry between feedings. :beerchug-2:

..Question :Why is Mj Illegal in some places and not in other... this to me is bull, How can it be both in the same country's? isn't that wrong! WTF is so wrong with Mj ( in the gov't eyes) and who are they to say I cannot consume my Tomatoe's ! or anything else... the way i see it it's about control....they want their cut of the pie! I think that if you grow it, you should have the right to consume it, not have some Fn suit tell you you can't do that....pay us money now! What a bunch of bullshit....their is a difference between possession, and pos/ intent....who are they to say what i can do in the privacy of my home! If I'm not bothering ANYONE, then WTF is the big deal...the Gov't makes us all criminal's ( where it's illegal) for doing what we enjoy. Mj is a wonderful, beautiful, creation with so many benifits and not too many neg's....The more i learn the more i realize, There is so much that this one plant can do for us all....to many to list! It covers a broad spectrum of ailments, clothing,food...Wow, How could a gift from the Gods be Illegal??????

All of us ask the same questions every day... It's tragic what our Uncle Sam is doing to all his hemp-loving nieces and nephews.


Hopefully, someday before I die, the government will come to its senses and we will all be able to grow and consume this beautiful plant freely for all of its uses, industrial and recreational.


I'm not holding my breath though

 

It's all about your preference scorpion. Leaving a plant to grow natural is good because you get a great big main cola bud (along with all the smaller ones) while with topping / pruning you lose that one great big bud, but it can actually increase yield by promoting more growth among the secondary branching... I'm a fan of both styles! My SC x SSH is topped, while the LarryBerry girls are untopped..

My mind is racing with so many ideas and concepts that I have learned ...especially over the last little while...Hey I will admit I am no Expert...I'm Still a seedling. Hey scorpion, thanks a lot for the kind words man. I'm glad you like what you see, and it's fun to share with appreciative people.


I'm not gonna lie man, I really don't do much to my plants other than water them ever 2 or 3 days... That's the major mistake newbie growers make... They try to love their plants too much. They fail to realize that this plant is a weed and will pretty much grow itself when given the proper environment. So, that's my advice to you... Find out what the right environment should be, and then try to provide it for your plants. If they like what you've given them, they will reward you with lots of beautiful, stinky buddage. If they don't like what you're giving them, they will let you know that, too.


As far as topping and pruning, its fun to try different things. Experiment!


They love to be bent over and tied down, give that a try sometime. They get nice & bushy that way too, and you don't even have to chop the top off.

Man, if that's all you do then Awesome!, You have probably accomplished what most only dream of, you found a way that works, you know what you are doing, and most important is you kept it Simple...not complicated like allot of people like to brag about....But it's not like you do nothing, like I said earlier you pay attention to the details, like when they need water you are there for them. She's starting to fill out a bit, and she's really pumping out the trichomes now. VERY frosty for 22 days in... She's gonna be a hell of a sight in 50 more days... opcorn-2:

Here's SourCali x Super Silver Haze, she makes me soooo hawwwwny. Pure head stash. I quick dried a 35 day tester bud and 3 hits of it had me zoned out on the couch for 3 hours... This girl is gonna be cooking brain cells big time at 70.
