why do you want to clip them?
WS420 is right ..if you have constant wind on your plant it could get wind burn. osilating is the way to go

Hmmmmm i dont know if if 70 is enough (you might want to get a second opinion on 70watts) but it should work, just sit it out for the next 2 weeks...
