Just for shits and giggles i put 5 NL and 5 mistic blue seeds in 16 oz cups in my flower room this morning. They were put into ocean forest with a little lime and sulfer and added about 25% perlite. If they show enough promise will transplant to larger containers when the time comes. Will take pics as things progress and will post at later time. Hopefully these are good seeds as i have had then for a while and came from plants that went herm due to light interuption. Cracked a couple of each and they still looked good inside so keeping fingers crossed.
Smoke??? How was the "smoke" off of the HERMI that you had??? Was it any good, or just OK, but you got some seeds, so your on to a winner, thinking coz u got seeds in it, or was it a GOOD smoke all in all?(In general!) Let us know iff this strain you got these from was a good smoke or NOT!!! I know this has no real significance to the potency of the seeds production of weed, but it wopuld be great iff ya knew what syrain it was, or at least a guess in what weed did you get them from??? The seeds came from NL and mistic blue which is a blue berry cross. I had both in flower at the same time and had a timer failure and my lights were on for 24 hours for several days straight. There were 2 plants of each and ended up with arround 30 seeds from all plants combined. The smoke was excellent. No real lose of potiency. I have a mother of NL from those seeds that seems to be just as good as the original seeds although has a tendency to produce a few seeds. The last harvest there was maybe 3 seeds per oz. Mostly female. I planted 5 seeds, 4 came up all female. Kept one for a mother and flowered the rest which was the last harvest. Forgot about my mistic blue until this morning. 5 of those i started this morning the normal way and 5 for the experment. It also was excellent smoke.
Hey Wa... Since ur gonna do this experiment thingy anyway... Why don't ya document the entire grow and put it up as a thread to show how good or bad it goes. Couldn't hurt, eh?
I don't see why it wouldn't go. I mean it depends on genetics really.. But there are places in the world that every day is 12 hours long. Plants have to veg and flower.. We may find they decide when to do it under a short day world.
this thread is becoming increasingly informative guys and gals.. hey greenkitty. any chance that you will be able to get pics and such of these particular plants on a consistent basis? There is NO WAY that i am gonna be able to take the pics and get a thread together. we would all be more than greatful and it would be great info for the FAQ........ let me know....if you wanna do it send me a pm and we'll get started.

Update on 12-12 5 days after seeds were planted- 5 of ten seeds have come up and the rest look as they should be up tomorrow. The first to come up are the NL.
Worried you for security? I'm still very jittery about it as well....:icon_confused: lol...glad I'm not alone there.
i've been following this for awhile... any new updates... i am vegging 3 of my bagseed for another 2 days then i am going to 12/12 as well
WHAT UP WONA? ive been using ocean blend recently, and it is good stuff, but my suggestion would be to use unferted soil. the man at the grow shop told me not to fertalize for a month, when using just OB soil. so i would use unferted soil and just add bud food as u see it needs it. but with 12/12 it will work eventualy no matter what. i know that u know your stuff, but good luck anyway.
Update 4 MB and 4 NL made this far. Went ahead and transplanted into 8 inch pots in the ocean blend soil. I put then into these pots because that was all of the dirt that i had to work with. Wasn't going to buy more just for an experment. Besides, its a few hours trip to the hydro store for me. I have taken some pics of things and will post at a later time. GK
Update on 12-12 All eight of the plants started under 12 hour light are at the forth node and looking very good. They are really starting to take off now. The four that were started the normal way are are at the same growth rate. They have been under fluorescent lights. 4 foot 4 bulb with cool whites lamps until yesterday. They are now spending the days in with the other plants to get the hps light. Will take more pics today and hope to have them on soon. GK
