Fuckin' awesome!!!!:bravo: Heard some great things about the Strawberry. Curious to see the flowering time compared to some of the others. And hope 'our' (since I came up with the name:roffl Potunia carries on the same traits as their mother. You da man:not-worthy: Be Cool, CG
Got an update for you guys, they are 3 weeks in and looking good. Finally winter is letting up but with melting snow makes a whole nother mess of mud and water, i thought i had a good system with my watering pit and a sump pump with a float switch on a pole in the middle of the pit but the pump dosnt neerly keep up, as you can see in the first pic it is flooding part of the greenhouse. Today it finally did not flood since the snow is mostly gone but the ground is still soaked and im sure the first good rain will be coming soon so i will have to dig an overflow ditch that will go to a ravine about 300 ft away. this is the Potunia, i wanted to enter it in the cannabis cup but the one in MI requires me to be i licensed dispensary to enter it. Looking good for 3 weeks the strawberry cough i have a couple plants looking a little off so i went ahead and flushed them in case there was any salt build up, they are 45gal pot so i of coarse could not properly flush but they got about 10 times the amount of water as they usually would get ferts. you can see the tip is a tittle off color, its just this small section showing this but i want to keep it at just this.
Shazzam! And no light bill either. Love that. I loves me a greenhouse. I have nothing constructive to say other than I as as green as your plants.
oh yeah and the tips is that a cal mg def? i used to get that untill i used sensi cal bloom from advanced but now they quit making it
I use calmag, i was using 4ml per gal, used to use 5 in RO water so 4 should be fine, i actualy backed back down to 3 ml after the flush, it could just be that those strains like more N then usual. It is only the 2 chem dawgs and a clone of a seed plant so that is my guess since it is both chems and i only have one of the seed plant clone, its not like there is some doing it and some not doing it of the same strain but i flushed anyways just in case of salt build up.
That was my first thought, they got that 'low on nitrogen' yellowing. Seems to isolated to those few plants and the bottom sun leaves. You'll get it figured out!! Be Cool, CG
hijacked sorry I used this thread to show Big gun the visual reference to what I was planning:goodjob:
4 weeks in, i cant believe how big some of these buds are for 4 weeks, it seems like it is usually 6 weeks when they are this size. these are some smaller ones in the back, they have the biggest buds. Im not sure if it is cause of pot size for plant size or if i should be watering the bigger pots more. I will see at harvest if the roots on the big ones made it to the bottom. I really think they should have been getting more because when i flushed them it took a long time for water to come out the bottom, i probably should have been giving them double what i was. the Potunia
I'm right there with you when it comes to a great job.. I would love to get up and take care of plants all day long. that's my passion. Cannabis plants that is.
