:flipando: Looks great:not-worthy: But that $100 bill looks familiar! Oh yeah, that's the one I dropped at the strip club last week. Or was it 2 of them?:roffl::roffl: Be Cool, CG
sorry its been so long, ive been very busy lately. here is a few quick pics of what i got this year. It is doing pretty good this year, i had the same issue i had last year that i thought was salt buildup from the well water so i tried adding calmag instead of just epsom salts and i think it did the trick. I am beginning to see that some deficiencies show up different ways when the plants are so big. dont know for sure that this is corect but its a guess from my observation. as far as i know calcium helps with the roots taking up water and magnisium so i think first when they start to get the curved fan leaf stems and look droopy as in the first pics below then get a magnesium deficiency even though i was adding 1 tbs epsom salt per 10 gal every watering with the useless formula. as far as soil goes it is top soil mixed with a bit of fill sand and many many bags of promix bx+. these are a bit after i started adding calmag but you can see a few fan leafs down how they are drooping. these are pics of the good ones, certain strains got effected first so i caught it early for these so they didnt get to stunted from it. the big ones are about 7' tall in these pics, these are all about a week ago. these were most efected, the ground in this house must have been more depleted then the other one.
I said to myself, "Self, don't open that new post by Greenjah, you're only going to be jealous as all fuck. Seriously dude, you're not gonna like it. It'll be big bushy perfect plants that could crush small children if they topple over." click.... AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh..........
i started in a 3 by 4 box in my basement and just kept investing. I am lucky i didnt have to buy land, my parents have 20 acers and moved to AZ so i started growing there. once you start greenhouses it goes pretty quick, i started in a 14 by 66 and it only took 2 years to get what i got. thank you for the compliments, it does get better every year, it was like learning to grow all over again. anyway here are some pics from today, i actually had to snap a couple tops or they would have hit the celling by now
There is a Santa Clause!!!! Man if Florida goes legal, I am so moving outside. Great looking plants, how much bud per plant will that be??
my biggest ones i expct to get 8 to 10 lbs per plant, i got 8 off of one last year and they are already much bigger now then at harvest last year. the smaller ones i hope for 2 to 5. that is if no problems come up.
I have a twister t4. I will need to get a second one after I get a bit of income from my earlier finishers. I also made a tool that takes the buds off the stems for me, I was suppose to patent it but the lawyer never got back with me and I just haven't had the time to deal with it lately.
Just kinda came to mind, i am wondering if i should have gave or should still give a double dose of calmag because of the suspected deficiency? Certain ones are not recovering as fully as hoped. The tops that were most efected are growing better but every time it gets hot and sunny they just dont look that great, i have been giving them 5 ml per gal but never gave them a strong dose.
Wind keeps down some bugs. I get plenty of caterpillars to squash but they dont realy f things up unless a whole collony of babies goes unfound for a week r so. Thats only happened once. Mold sucks, i loose a lb or so every year. I have a problem with a worm or caterpillar that eats into the stem and burrows, if the branch is big it dosnt seem to bother it but if i dont find it it can cause it to rot. I just poke a whole in the top of a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and squirt it on in. Hopefully it kills the worm but it at least gets rid of the rot, it works the same for rot on the stem from breaking branches. The exposed area after breaking can rot. Its a job, you have to observe everything every day, i say some of my plants are sick but others dont notice it, its cause i look at them so long every day.
Got some more pics finally. I cant believe how much they grew since the last pics. I didnt even realize it till i just saw the last pics i put up. I have had to cut many tops off of these ones when they grew into the top and more just keep growing up in there place, they are over 12' around. The stretch is over now though so i can tie and cut more. this is the smaller house, they are only 5 to 7 ft tall but pretty big around. this is whiteberry. It was the first to start, its probly a week and a half or more ahead of most of the rest. just thought this was kinda cool i got this atomizer and it is great, i wish i had this when i was growing indoors, i could have stood at the door and done a whole room in a few min. I would say it is as good of an investment as a trimmer. Spider mites and powdery mildew beware.
That's it! I'm getting in my car and driving up there. :kidding: greenjah, those are beautiful plants you got there. :not-worthy: :goodjob: Looking forward to you next updates buddy. :thumbs-up: :bong-2:
