'Tis not over yet friends...


I will still be posting a few pics of the final product as well. These last few posts are just of the harvest.


Heres the last BIG BUSH that i had. The weather here is getting cold and it wont stop raining. Every spot that was moldy was getting thicker and wetter, so i decided it was best to bring her down. I wish i coulda got that extra week of fatness out of her, but it woulda been a disaster. A few more days of rain was all i needed to hear. So down she came...


This one had much more than the other larger bush. I wish i had that extra week!!! DAMN!! haha


This shot is all the bud from the last large bush. A big pile of Colas, and the smaller buds that are better off separated from their stems.

Heres a closeup of the Main Colas. OH HOW I WISH I HAD A FEW MORE DAYS!!!





I think overall i probably had a good handful size of waste due to mold. Not too much when considering its still wet. Id say i lost about an eighth of an ounce to bud rot and mold. Maybe a tiny bit more....


All in all im reallly happy with this years grow. I havent grown anything this sticky before so im exicted to see how it turns out. For now ill just be drying them up and putting em in the mason jars.

Oh yeah PS: i never knew "outdoor" could get this dank. I had always imagined outdoor as a drier "thin" kind of smoke. I guess sticky shit can come from outside. :icon_scratch: Depends on the strain i suppose right?

 

yup strain is everything. The critical mass I had outdoors was all so god damn sticky. When I chop it up, it all clumps back together.

 

MOLD RESISTANT!!? hmm.... And Looking sweet!!!

You Ever Thaught about Trying "THE CHURCH"??? This strain is aparantly MOLD RESISTANT, so claimed by GHS and a CPL others!


Just a Suggestion DAN, if MOLD Is an Issue, and ya still want Quality Budage man! :thumbsup:

You going to roll with those same strains next year or are you going to hunt something down that finishes faster and is more mold resistant. I have a few in mind if your interested.

Nice haul, the only thing that I did this year that seemed "worth it" was the White Rhino and PPP, the hindu kush and cali orange bud just doesnt have enough time here in the north, it gets too wet too early and too cold.


Next year its Rhino and Lemon SKunk for me....so far...?:icon_scratch:

MK.... no i dont know what strains ill do. I just buy whatever clones i can get at the time from locals.


Thanks guys. Ill have some more pictures up later this week. Maybe tomorrow...ive got all the bud dried up pretty good. Maybe another day..and then its into the jars.


At the consistency its at now..(spongy but not wet) i had roughly about 15oz's. But thats only one big bush and the small bush. I still have the other large bush to dry out and weigh...


Im thinking i should have around 20 oz's when i get it down to the consistency i like. Ill have pics soon.. stay tuned.:fly: :fly: :fly: :fly:

 

Well ive got it all dried up and in the jars. Time for some flavor...


Anyone have any guesses on how much i got there? 7 Large Mason Jars.. All i can say is those jars hold a lot more than you think...the last picture you might be able to read the labels on the lids. Each one has that amount inside believe it or not. And no it is not wet.

Heres the bud from the larger bushes. Really sticky when cutting it up, but still burns great. Not too much flavor yet, but smells flippin' strong!! I topped off each jar with the little popcorn buds to go through first as i taste test and whatnot over the next week or so. The design on the glass jar makes the buds look all twisted and shitty, but its just the bends in the glass. lol





This is the bud from the smaller sticky bush. Rock hard buds and incredibly sticky inside once cracked open. Hard to cut as well due to it being so dense and solid. Burns at a normal rate. Really rare smell, i cant quite describe it yet. Maybe once it gets a little more flavorful i can come back and fill in the blank. The buds themselves are fucking great... nice and sticky.





5 jars filled right to the rim, 2 just above half full.

 

Pound and a half?

 

Pretty close..... good guess.

 

25 1/2 oz's.


Big haul this year. Last year i had right on 16oz.

I can't fathom processing all of that at once. I guess you'd have to have some help. What a lot of work!
