Man that's sure one nice haul you got there! If you need any help smoking it I'll be right over.

Lots and lots of light. I just saw Growdude's most recent harvest on another site. He also did DP WW, but had twice as much light. When he posts it here, you will be amazed.

I would love to share it with you all. I don't smoke much, maybe an ounce or two per year.

 

I have the final numbers.


After drying it came out to 236 grams or 8.32 ounces. Not the 11 ounces I thought it would be, but still a respectable harvest.


That works out to 21.7% of the wet weight.


Now, I did dry it out more than I normally would have because I am worried about mold, but not so much that it would have made a 2 2/3 ounce difference. So, it seems I was a little too optimistic when I predicted 11 ounces.

Did you use the 400w light on just 1 plant, or did you have several plants?

 

Dude, I don't think anyone could complain about getting .5lb from 1 plant. Good job

 

Yeah, I only had the one plant under the 400 Watt HPS.


Next time, I should just fill up my flowering closet just to see what the maximum harvest I could get out of that room. It is only 30 inches x 36 inches x 6 feet high, so I could fit 4 plants that were the same size as that WW.

Insane in the brain

I'm currently between grows as the garden is shut down until august. I'm going crazy trying to think of the best light/plant layout. I lye in bed at night, not being able to fall asleep because I am planning out the "perfect" garden in my mind.


Am I the only one who has gardening on their mind 24/7? Even on my vacation in Mexico recently I would do things like look up at the street light, noting that they were hps, and seeing empty buckets on a restaurant floor that would be perfect for dwc.

 

I too have growing on my Mind 24 hours a day. I lay in bed at night dreaming about having a whole bed room to use for my grow. I wake up and check my plants mean while thinking of anything I can to improve my set up. Pretty much everywhere I go, and everything I do Im thinking about my garden.


I Love herb more than anything on earth. It's nice to hear im not alone. Cant wait to take my next clones in about 10 days or so.

 

My garden is shut down for the summer also. Gets too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, so I plan on growing spring and fall.


Like you guys, even on the "off season," I'm thinking about how to improve the grow room. For example, I know I need a new exhaust with a carbon filter and better air flow (I got some mold on my last plant). I also need to make some minor tweaks on my hydro system, like put in some kind of meter so I know how much nutrient solution is left in the reservoir. I know Domin8rix uses a clear tube attached to the side. I may do the same thing.

 

Skunknhaze, dude, welcome back. Haven't seen you in a while. How did things work out with the school? Hope everything is going well for you!

 

I do the same thing.. I'll find myself looking up at street lights and security lights and try and tell what kind of bulb is in them... I even think about it when at work... Later

 

I think about growing 24 / 7 for the last couple years.

 

ya it's all i do and i'm not even growing anymore. always thinking about the perfect setup.

I know this post is a little old, but did you top it at all and if so how many times?


And great looking plant.

 

I can almost guarantee you that plant is LSTed. If you look at my profile and click threads started by me, look at my LUI, LP#9, Dabney, and KKSC grows. If you want a squat plant with a bunch of colas like that LST is the way to go, You would have to top a lot to get that result.


And damn you! You got me all excited that AB had posted some new stuff.


Edit* I just looked back over the thread and if you look at AB's post #6 he says he LSted them like I said.
