    Just quick update,

They've been out of their solo cups for 5 days now and are really digging the fresh batch of soil I made for them. I almost lost them all alast week when they dried out the day before I returned home from weekend away. I'm left with 5 nice health plants, 3 JBKO kush and 2 Lemon Thai (I think it's LT anyway)

    Cheers folks:redbong:

Things have progressed well this week and the girls are now in their final pots. There're two LT and two JBxKO Kush in three gal pots and one jbko in a 1 1/2 gal plastic pot that will be a filler plant. I'm hoping my yield will increase by only have 4 large plants in stead of 5 on shelf. I'm thinking that the LT will enjoy the extra space..

    there they are..:jj:

    Lookin good.

Have you fed them anything besides water at this point?

So far alll they've been getting is plain water. There should be enough fresh soil in the three gal posts I put then in last night to keep them fed for another 4-5 weeks + or - .

I don't even remember why I posted that fucking scary clown pic:roffl:

They're nearing the half way point with 3 full weeks in flower down and 4 more to go.

I'm always amazed at how quickly these start to flower after the flip. :smokin:

I was taking care of things in the garden this evening and decided to take a few pics to share.

It doesn't show in the picture because of the HPS but I've noticed that the plant that's directly under the light looks a bit lighter than the rest do. Not yellowish but just a little lighter shade of green, almost like it's hungry. initially I wrote it off as light bleaching but now I'm starting to think that maybe she's working a little harder than the others. They've been in their final 3 gal pots since a few days before I flipped the switch so it's quit possible they're hungry. Other than a single dose of Epsom a salt last week a dose of molasses this week, all they've been given is straight RO water.

Off to the left is a runt jbko clone that I flowered in a cup as an experiment.

Looking good...Just wondering how many plants in there and how much space are you working with?

Thanks for checking in Mr G.

I must apologize for the crappy pic but it is clear enough to show the lighting I mentioned earlier. The one on the right sits dead center 8" below the light, all of the others look like the other one. Does that look like light bleaching or is it using nutrients faster then the others?

Imagine if you will a 4x4x 8' closet with an 80 gal upright compressor centered against a wall. The shelf is custom cut to fit half way around the compressor, basically it's 22"x47" with 1/4 moon cut out of it. Below the adjustable shelf there's a light tight veg box for moms and cloning that uses 2 cfl bulbs. I'm running 600watts year round but I'm pretty sure I could run 1000w in the winter and skip using auxiliary heat during the lights on cycle.

It's tight space but it's providing more than enough toke for me, family and friends

I've always run 5 plants in 3 gal smart pots and it's always been a fucking jungle. Last round I ran 5 pots plus one small filler in the corner with a yield of 12-13 zips. This time I'm only running 4 of the 3 gal smart pots and a small filler in corner. Judging from how they look at 3 1/2 weeks I'd less is more in this case.

First of all, man I gotta say your garden looks freaking awesome in every way, and in particular in the even canopy and evenly spaced colas. It's damn near perfect in terms of maximizing your space.

And great question. I have the same question, and same thing going on under my lights. The ones under the 600 directly are lighter green.

My SWAG of an answer is that it's food. The plants grow bigger and more vigorously under the sweet spot, and therefore consume more nutrients.

I'd just give her some extra food once in a while and see if that helps shape things up. You might have a radiant hotspot affecting growth there also. Hang a small thermometer (or use us a laser thermometer) right at the top of the plant inn question to be sure.

Ye gads keep one of those fancy things away from my garden. It's prolly hot spot city for me.

Two of the girls started throwing out a few nanners midway through week 5, about a week after their last trimming. I knew I was pushing it by trimming them so late but they looked so healthy I thought they could handle it. I've been pulling 2-3 nanners off every couple of days and I'm chopping them down in another 5 days so It's really a non issue. The JBKO were freebies so I guess I really cant complain too much but this pheno is def. prone to hermi if stressed even a little bit. It's also finishes in 7 only weeks and is fabulous toke so I'll put up with a few nanners every few rounds:thumbsup:
