I think your PH issue is wholly separate from the air bubbles, and controlling PH by reducing airstones is IMHO letting the tail wag the dog. I just don't buy it.


One possible explanation for the correlation you are seeing is that when the plants have more oxygen they eat, altering the PH by a tenth of a point or two.


Look at a nutrient uptake chart. You'll note that plants take up different nutrients at different PH levels more easily. If you're PH stayed EXACTLY at 5.8 24/7, you'd be missing out. You want a gentle swing through 5-7, with MOST of the time the PH being AROUND 5.8.


Keep it simple. The plant looks fine to me in the above pic, considering the recent transplant.

As all of you said.... She is EXPLODING!!!! Holy #&@! Batman....





Here she is with her soil sister and soil cuts of Sour Diesel #2 and Sour Kush. Going to flower those out in small containers. See if they produce.... If not they shall be gone.

Thanks... Mine got off to a very slow Start. I switched it from growing in soil to DWC. It looked like hell for two weeks....
