BBT's K O Kush F4 and Amnesia Haze X Choc Rain Grow

K O Kush F4 update


Hi Gk'ers


The Kush plants have just finished week 7 of flower and I am really happy


with them. So, a few pics are in order. The trichs are starting to milk up, but no amber as of yet. Calyxes are swelling up- this strain is a trich producing demon. These are the first full blown Indica that I have grown out. Starting the flush in a few days so, if I am right, they should be coming down at 9-10 weeks. These plants have a reeky smell to them and


I can hardly wait to smoke some of it.

This has been a really easy plant to grow, doesn't need a lot of Nitrogen


during veg.

K O Kush F4 update,


Hi Gk,


Just finished week 8 on the Kush plants. They are on the flush now and will be coming down in two weeks. The Amesia Haze/ Choc rain is a whole different story. She will probably be a 12-13 week finisher. The flower stretch got away from me on the Haze plant. Nearly 5 feet tall. Oh well,


lesson learned. anyway, here are a few shots.

Here is the Haze plant, flowering for 7 weeks, starting to show some decent trichs. Still a way to go.





My best K O plant. not going to be a big yield but they are looking


good and frosty

The K O Kush F4's came down


Hi Gk folks.


I harvested the Kush plants a few days ago. They wound up going


10 weeks- longer than I expected but worth the wait. K O is not


a big producer so if you are after weight, ya better grow a bunch of em.


They do, however, put on a metric shit load of trichs. My wife and I have


sampled on a bud taken at nine weeks and it was good at that point.


The shots below are just going into the jars. I will have more to say about


em after a better cure. I know the test bud had us pretty ripped and laughing our ass off after a half Joint. definite couch lock potential.


Anyway, here ya go.

I still have four beans left. Think I am going to let a female seed out next round with em to have a stash.

looks yummy, can't wait to grow the KO out this fall. About the yield, I read on opengrow that you have to give the KOs a long veg, something like 8 weeks, to get a somewhat decent yield. Anyways, when its grown for personal stash, taste is much more important than yield

 

Looks dank. Super frosty trichome coated. :coool::goodjob: It's a shame it's not a heavier yielder.

 

Looking real good. Mine is going to be low yield too. I think my outside grow of the ko will be much better in the yield department. Did any of yours foxtail? My hempy one is doing that.

 

Thanks to all for dropping in. Yeah, Link, in retrospect a longer veg is probably a good idea with these. I only let em go for 30 days before I flipped


them. They only got to about 20 inches tall and meanwhile the Amnesia


Haze / choc rain plant is stretching like a bitch at the same time.


MG. No, no foxtailing for me with the K O this time. How long did


you veg yours ?


So, thanks to everyone for the good vibes. This was a fun grow and


I do recommend this strain for the potency it is exhibiting. I am definitely


going to try some of the other Kush strains out. Wish I could lay hands


on the pre 98 Bubba strain, but the Tahoe OG kinda has my attention too


I think Ras said he is giving that a go so I will be watching for that.

Yeah, I'll be running Cali Connect's Sour OG and Tahoe OG real soon. I expect the seeds this week.

 

I sprouted mine on 1/19/12 and flipped the light to 12/12 on 3/08/12.
