calling all outdoors heads

How would I veg them inside, I have no lights or anything, the only thing I have is a 60watt fluro LoL But, I was just hoping to be full outdoors, I mean they can live inside for a few days but, I would have to put them out after that. Any help would be appreciated? Can I just use the 60 for them and move them out after like a week??

 

I agree that just doesn't seem right, but only because up here I would kill to have that light cycle, and be able to put them out now, and that;s what just doesn't seem right. Wish they would move us out to the atlantic time zone but ohhhhhhhhhh nooooooo congress won't have it, so we spend the winter in darkness.

So you cant veg outdoors in MIA?? All vegetative growth must be done indoors?

 

Ganja If u want some inexpensive, efficient lights to grow indoors with, your gonna have to pick yourself up some new CFLS. I would recommend 1000bulbs.com


They have CFLs ranging from 2-200 watts. I got myself a pair of 105w bulbs recently for my cabinet, and im more than pleased with them.. Not to mention the service was great, they arrived in less than 5 days.


Make sure u get the full spectrum bulbs 5500k+.


Im not exactly sure how the daylight schedule is in MIA, but it sounds like your gonna have to do your vegging indoors, then throw them out to flower. I would familiarize yourself with the daylight hours in MIA, and figure out the latest you can put your plants out to allow them to finish.


I grow in the Northern Hemisphere, so thats all I know. , man.:icon_scratch:

Sure. Flourescents are better. I use them all the time. I grow outdoors in the winter, then bring the babies in a night and put them under flourescent lights for a few hours. It doesn't take much to interrupt the dark cycle, and that's all you need to do to keep them from budding.

 

So just for shits and gigs what if I left the female thats flowering outside would it get a decent size or just stay small. Either way I'm gonna do it and maybe I can harvest a lil like 5 or 6 gram bud lol Whatcha think, I started the other beans btw...

Also, do u have any good links that would break down the construction of a cold frame? I could really use a couple of these, but Im not real sure how to go about building one.

i think if you put a flowering plant outside now..it will revert back to vegging...and likely keep growing and growing until the sun is at 12/12 and then go back to flowering...so thats what i think...anyone else...good luck with the experiment.

did you originally start them outside? light changes can make hermies and cold...ive heard that if a plant gets stressed to much b4 showing the sex it can turn them male..seeds from hermi,turn male or hermie very easily if stressed.. one year i used seeds from a hermie ,they got root bound, and all turned male except one of 7 whicwas a hermie..they ended up getting stolen and i laughed,that other person was a dumb ass or a desperate cop...

Update!


So I placed an order for some new seeds and they arrived! Which are Auto AK from Lowryder which are going in the ground immediately and then Belladonna, which I will Veg when my cab is done being built. But, not only did I get those! Attitude sent me 1 Fem Skunk #1 which I'm gonna try and take EXTRA good care of and 5 Feminized Thai Skunk!! So thumbs up for Attitude!!!:thumbsup: Pictures will come shortly of the Auto AK in the ground, they're being started tonight!!
