CCGs here what going on with the plants. I topped all the plants today and have the tops in the cloner. Tester #1 is tall and lanky. a lot of stretch, I'm guessing male. Tester #2 has the deformed leaf growth that has not straightened out yet. Tester #3 looks pretty good and tester #4 looks ok but #3 looks better then #4 I'll post updated pictures next week. #1 #2 #3 #4
Thank you again for the update sir we greatly appreciate it. It would seem there's a lot of purpling throughout all four plants, i would assume that is coming from blueberries side of the genes. Aside from the defects, they look very happy.
I hope that after topping them there will be normal growth on the base portion of the plant. I'll post more pictures this weekend.
Two of them are looking beautiful. As for the third, we are so sorry for the bad genes we've sent you Mr. Smith.
All right all of them are looking better now that they’ve been topped. tester number two though continues to put out completely deformed leaves. I will be pulling that plant and ending The grow on that particular plant there is definitely a genetic issue with tester number two.
Thank you yet again for all your help with this. We completely understand pulling #2. We wouldn't imagine much good will come from it. #1 & #3 look fantastic, very uniform, & seems to be taking well to their training. As for #4, we've seen those leaf deformities on an Aurora Indica that we grew a while back, but we never figured out what it was.
We have decided on a name for this strain, & will release it to the public once we have more stable genes from this strain. We have decided on Blue Possession. Thank you again Mr. Greenjeans for all of your help.
No problem CCG. Number 3 showed male pollen sacks so I removed it as soon as I found them. We’re down to two plants.
The good news is the top I cut off of #4 is rooted so I transplanted it today. The potted plant is #4 and has not shown sex yet.
Unfortunately number three showed that it was a male today, so unfortunately I had to remove it. We are now down to one plant. I am waiting and expect it to show sex in the next few days.
I switched to 12-12 three days ago hopefully will be showing me sex within a week or 2 I'll keep you posted and update pics soon!
Thank you so much Mr.Greenjeans for your update, it is appreciated more than you could ever imagine. And we do sincerely apologize for sending you such weak genes, we should have put more work into stabilizing the strains before searching for testers. You deeply and sincerely hope that the last plant that you have will be female. If i'm not mistaken, the only one that remains is #4 correct?
