This picture is about 3 weeks in veg - the last ten days under MH 600W.A couple questions I guess it is getting near time to transplant from 1 gal to 3 gal soft pots - what are the signs to look for to know when its time to transplant. They are taking water every 2 days and i have some roots poking out of the side of the softpots.I have been cropping - what I think is alot (you guys would prolly laugh) - do I easy up on the cropping and let them start to grow out??Finally - have watched all the videos I can find on sexing. 3 of my plants are female clones. They look beautiful. Ready to move up pots imho. Once they start to show sex it's unmistakable and you'll never need to ask again. Patience.
I'd probably wait to transplant until they're needing water almost every day. There's certainly nothing wrong with res's advice,I just do it a bit differently is all. Great looking garden Duc.
Move them up to bigger pots now and in a week they will get over the transplant shock and will take off on you. with in two weeks from the time you switch them to 12/12 you will see the sex of the plants. Like Resin said, Once they start to show sex it's unmistakable and you'll never need to ask again.:redbong:

I give a good trim of undergrowth and top to desired height whenever I transplant. Any larger branches that are getting out of control get tied down or pinched and bent to give an even canopy. You can get pretty aggressive as long as you have enough recovery time before switching to flower.
Looks like you got it going on there! One piece I'd like to add is, take some clones from the 6 your wondering about and put under 12/12 immediately. They will flower even without roots and you'll know, just remember to label which plant they're from. Looks great btw, wish my indoor looked like that. I got to fix my heat issues though, and get a better light like your 600W.
when to flipOk - the babies have been in veg for 3 weeks under 600wMH and 2 weeks under the T5. How tall are the plants above the soil? Personally I'd wait until they're between 16 & 18" tall (measured from the top of the soil not the floor) so that with a little trimming during/after the stretch you'll end up with a plant around the 36" mark. I think you have the space to make it work. You should make your final trim a bit sooner (like a week) then I did since it appears I've over stressed my crop just a tad. came home from vacation to find a few nanners have popped sometimes toward the end of week 6 / early week 7. As always - I am learning - just trying to stay on the curve Turns out I have been vegging 24x7 under the MH - seems like some in the know move that to 18x6 or 20x4... I am going to give them another week under the MH but at 18x6 then make the flip to the HPS at 12x12
Today I was able to thin down the herd a bit - to 6 plants (3 JackberrykoKush and 3 Purple Power. I was able to sex the Purple Powers and have 4 females/2 males - attached is the picture of the two males on death row.I also checked the roots on my Lemon Tai cuts - 3 weeks under the dome and roots coming out of all the drain holes - one had a 6 inch root coming out. I have to ask, what are you planning to do with the LT that you just put under the MH while the JBKO are flowering for the next EIGHT weeks???? :icon_confused:
