and another way to UP your yield a bit, is to VEG till about 6-8inch tall and add a few extra plants to the table instead, you get the weight increase with the large colas they grow and the under growth max's out cuz theres few branches and the ones that are there go apeshit and grow decent golfball nugs that weigh up very nicely......all while keeping a smaller canopy and fully uses all of the lightspread, instead of just on the main tops

At the moment I have two more plants in flower. One comes down this weekend, and the other in three weeks. I want to gut the grow room, and have a nice 5.5 ft by 5.5 ft square floor space. I can then place the 2 by 4 ft table against the back wall so your looking at the table when you walk in to the room. Currently there is a Vegg box on the right side of the room that takes up 2X4 foot area. I can redo the veg box so it takes up only a 2x2 area to keep 3 small moms for clones.

Hey CC, I going to run 6 plants on the table. I would vegg till about 8 to 10 inches and flip the switch to 12/12

ill throw up a few pics of my 2x4 table.....its in week 5 right now, I believe that theres 8 or 9 plants in there, which began at about 6-8inch tall and are now about 14-16inch tall

sounds like a good plan MrG!

my ressy temp is 74, should I start adding ice?

    hell no!

if it was a recirculating system, i'd say to start watching it but the quantity of (so-called) bacteria wont have a negative effect on a 30min flood/eating time

it probably will never go above that temp, that's probably the ambient temp in the room/floor....unless you keep your room at a higher temp

Heres 9 girls that were just put in 4 days ago under a 1k light in a 3x3 table

and heres 8 girls that are in a 2x4 table under a 600 in week 5, theyre running a booster this week, so they will explode after week 6 is done with and they get all of their juices flowing..........and that's 6 bubba kush that are 5 days into the final flush in the background

I did wonder about boosters, does the MOAB truly dissolve? I use it in my hempys stirring really good between plants to keep it suspended, but I've read that certain powder boosters just sit in the ressy.

Also, I forgot to say anything about this earlier, but who uses the check valve (for lack of better word) on their pumps?

I took the cap off mine (it was located on the pump itself) when I built the system. I figured it would be the same as a full size sump pump to where the water rushing back into it would tear the motor up. I know it makes it less eff but table floods in about a minute and it kinda stirs up the nutes in the ressy

not my pump but you can see it sticking out on this

I just always took the pump outa the box and put it to work.....stop tryin to reinvent shit man,lol and besides, its like $15-20bux, so what if it breaks.....in my grows, I ALWAYS have stocked supplies...2 extra pumps, 3 extra timers, few extra trellis nets, few extra bulbs, extra ballast, few socket kits, extra fans, gallons of extra nutes, etc..... it don't pay to have a system failure or go down in some way, always be prepared

and yea the grainy boosters just sit there and do squat! I run liquid koolbloom, it will give you some extra boogers in your ressy but still does no harm, but in week 5 you WILL notice it, no biggie

I'm more scared of pump failure when I'm not around...but I gotcha

I'm running lucas right now and was going to add koolbloom next ressy change because I usally do KB weeks 2-4 MOAB week 5 then KB week 6

Can I just stick to koolbloom weeks 3-6?

Also do you do 10ml/gallon or 5?

knock on wood, ive never had a pump fail on me in 7 years....only time I had an issue was I ran a ressy dry and the pumps bearings dried out BUT the pump still worked, just had to bang it on something....I tossed it tho

Ive never ran any booster longer than 10 days, that's the ONLY variation I do on the Useless program, is run it 3 days longer than he says to, never had an issue.

so im not sure as to why or what all the boosters are guna do for you in that timeframe....seems like major overkill to me and lots of $$$

I run his program to the T....I also killed off the 1 day flush between weeks too, no biggie

When I run the week 5 koolbloom, I run it at 7ml per gal....I figured somewhere in the lower middle is better than scorching a plant

it's too easy, PH isn't fluxing anymore...

So how many times a day do you flood the table?

  19. nippie

I using hydroton like products (like what you used for hempys) and flooding every 3 hours for 15 minutes.

Wow thats quite the flood schedule. Hell I manual dump my tubs and only water twice a day once in the morning and once at night.

But I use lava cinders which are very pourous and hold the water better than hydroton and its Cheap.
