Pre world war II there was no Isreal. It was all palistine or what ever. After the war the allies thought it would be nice to give the jews something. They give them the holy land back. It wasnt the allies to give, hence the arabs kicked off.
that doesn't change my feelings about it in the least. What BP said was a bit closer to how I feel about it. But I still wouldn't abandon them to be exterminated.
