Nah it was a different one. I'd have to go look it up again. Total hack job on their web design too. Ah well. I've hit up a few different places and none of them have all of the strains I want. The Thai is negotiable but I'm having a hard time finding places that have all the strains I want in stock. Attitude doesn't have Jorge's Diamonds #1 at the moment, which is the new one I'm most eager to try out. I may just have to buy 3 packs from attitude and hunt down JD elsewhere...
Update: I found JD#1 at Attitude in one of their sampler packs. Just ordered my seeds! All are feminised. The total cost was $122 after shipping with insurance. 2x Dutch Passion Brainstorm 2x Dutch Passion Euforia 2x Dutch Passion Jorge's Diamonds #1 1x World of Seeds Landraces Wild Thailand 1x Greenhouse Seeds Great White Shark 1x Delicious Seeds Cotton Candy (freebie) 1x Delicious Seeds Blue Northern Lights (freebie) Think I aughta be able to find 4 wildly different but highly potent moms out of that batch? 2 indica and 5 sativas by my count.
I've grown Cotton Candy (Delicious Seeds) and GHS Great White Shark. The GWS was standout, and Cotton Candy no slouch either, though the potency of the CC I got was lackluster. The GWS was insane. It stunk like crazy, plant structure was amazing, tolerant of screw-ups.
Quick update relating to the growing aspect - the cab is built and the seeds are in, but I ran into a major problem in cab construction. I've only got about a 15"x14" flower space and grow bags just won't fit. I think what I'm going to have to do is basically use 1 gallon grow bags as dividers inside of a larger rubbermaid tub that fits the dimensions almost exactly. That way I can still have individual containers and won't have to be constantly reamending a single 30l pot. I'm still sketchy on the whole organics thing so I think working with single pots in the beginning will just be a lot easier. The other result is that my veg side is smaller too. it was a huge space loss - overall cab is about a foot narrower than I'd planned on. I ended up having to only use one 42w CFL in there just because 2 bulbs wouldn't fit. I think I still have room for a small cloner, 4 moms and a single small plant though. I'll just have to trim the moms' roots more frequently. Pretty much all I need before I can put the seeds in the dirt is my medical card. I'm making the appointment now!
Just went to turn and rewater my cooking soil mix and it had a mycelial mat crusting the top in places. Rather exciting. The smell is quite different from what I'm used to as a hydro grower. Feels like I'm back in my parents' vegetable patches. In case anyone is wondering, I added a myco/beni bacteria package to the soil. EDIT: Unfortunately it'll take me a while to get my card. This is going to have to go on hiatus for a bit. I figured I wouldn't have to see a dozen specialists to be rediagnosed with a friggin permanent chronic condition, but oh well. I'm considering not popping the thai strain after all - with the last minute design changes I just don't think the current flower cab is big enough for the thai. I'm going to have to just veg them as small as possible while I wait for the soil to cook - I hear the trick is to give it a full month before using it. We'll see. I'll be popping the JD #1, the Euforia, and the GWS first. I have a friend that needs some good moms in a hurry. I may not even be flowering these plants out since I hear they're good stable lines, in which case I'd probably be reimbursed and would reorder them plus a few extra for the trouble. I'm hoping that pans out since I'm really looking forward to testing some new super CBD strains.
