That's funny man. My parents smoked around me when I was real young. They just said it like it was. They were smoking a joint of some reefer. LOL Until one day I was going to my grandma's with my mom and she let me get some candy at the store. I picked out some candy cigarettes (anyone remember those things? LOL) and when we got to my grandma's house I was pretending to smoke one but I was holding it like a joint. My grandma says "Ohh you smoking a cigarette huh?" and I replied, "No, it's a joint like mommy smokes." LOL My mom was furious! I think I was only about 4 or 5 years old. I remember that vividly to this day. asssit:
I vividly remember the french cigarette incident. In the 70's my mom and her boyfriend would attend any No Nukes or peace rally that was going on in my area. While at one they were smoking it up with everyone and I was like those cigs your smoking smell and look weird. They were like oh thats because there french cigarettes. I think they were afraid I would say something to my dad, he can be an asshole sometimes. asssit:
Well got an update. Osmocote is gone, and she topped off the pot with some good quality soil. Looks pretty good I think.
I've been trying guys. She did come check it out, from what she said its to hard to find answers here. That we bullshit to much. Hahaha, she ended up joining some bigger grow site. I'll convert her yet though!! Lol, after she said all this she turned right around and asked me how I learned what I have- growkind, mom!sad thing is looks like she's a better gardener than I am:roffl:
She'll quickly find out that on those big sites it's hard to sift through all the garbage. Every idiot with a computer thinks he/she's a grow expert throwing around all kinds of false info and poor advice. Not that there aren't good growers on those sites too but there are far more idiots than experts out there. GK has a little bit of banter cuz it's smaller and people get fell like they know each other a bit so sometimes conversations ensue. That's what makes GK so much better than the big sites though. asssit:

I got an update from the folks. they got a damn TREE growing. still ant tell if its male or not. she did say that it has alternating nodes and that it might be starting to show preflowers.
That's one bad ass plant but the from the pic you posted on page 3 I'd say she may be a he. As Austin Powers would say " She's a MAN Baby". Almost without exception every time I'm on the fence whether a plant is male or female sooner or later its Bollocks (did I use that correctly TA:roffl I wouldn't kill it though at least not until YOU are sure. Ya mon! That's a nice healthy plant there. It'll be a shame if it's a male. Good learning experience either way though.
