Lmao, I met a cable guy once at my fence with a Glock to his face when he set off my security system. I actually saw him on camera trying to jimmy my gate to get in the backyard. Don't know what the hell cause I got no reason for him to be there, turned out he was trying to get to the pole in my yard.
Yeah man when I had the knock on my door and it turned out cool, I still flipped out and trashed everything. I hate that shit but better safe than sorry in my case and now I got my stuff back with some good help and a new set up under way. I got roof done and no reason for anyone else to come knocking, plus I stay under the 20 plant limit for MMS deal if was caught. No one really cares about growing like they use to. Unless it's a whole house grow. Would be if you got caught with one plant they had all points bulletin around my area. But been hearing of small grows accdently stumbled upon and just a court date and fines and probation. So it's better than time. My buddy got a med card that was $300 for doc and $75 to health department but I told him it's still like a monthly fee and the prices at stores are still 25 a g when you can get $8 a g for top shelf from guy down the street. Or in my garage...lol. FL is the biggest joke in legal except for kids that get/need it and parents get shafted from.growers.
I hear ya brother. It was hard keeping myself composed but I kept thinking that I was 100% in compliance with my county. Been having issues with some neighbors that I just found out have their tweeker daughter living with them and she brought a small pack of dogs with her that have been nothing but a pain in my ass. The issue is getting more heated now and I'd LOVE to call the sheriff, but who knows what will happen then? I'd rather have my shit all harvested and in jars before I start that war. Sucks having to live like that just because I grow a plant but being semi-paranoid has kept me out of jail for a long time now. Don't fix what ain't broke I always say...better safe than sorry. Speaking of being safe. The only requirement my county has that I wasn't adhering to was that the grow space has to be locked. Learning that I have tweekers and that the sheriff MAY end up out here I covered that base too. Two things I don't trust....cops and tweekers.
Update October 8: Been working on the two CC's and have most of them harvested now. I harvested in two rounds with popcorn still on the plants. Might as well let them fatten up too. It all smokes IMO....large or small. Having these two girls trimmed back has made access much easier for me in the grow area. I no longer have to lift bud branches up and out of the way just to weasle through. Close up of some CC popcorn bud. The AK Widow47 is most likely next on the chopping block. The buds have gotten so heavy they are laying down on the job now. I had to go in and tie things up last night. Not a bad lookin' cola either. The Gorilla Bomb also had colas flopped over the place. Tied them up too. The Hashchis.... The beautiful Sweet Soma.....she's turning purple now with the cooler temps. Love it.
I had the mites too...hate those little bastards! I washed the mites off with a hose and the cooler temps have pretty much done away with any mite problem I had. I think I dodged a bullet this round.
Got the two CC's out of the way and repositioned the other 4 for better light and airflow. And.....bud jar porn.
Update October 15: Not much change other than the buds fattening up more and more each day. Going to let them go for a bit and try not to rely too much on a set 'schedule'. With my setup it's taking them a bit longer to ripen up. All in good time. Gorilla Bomb: Hashchis:

I decided to take 5 of the Gorilla Bomb terminal buds leaving at least that many more on the plant. Before the trim obviously. With all these plants, I've got a lot of trimming to do so I try to space it out and allow lower buds to fill in and ripen. The second picture is the AK Widow47 terminals I took on Sunday. There are a few more hanging in there but not in the shot.
Bummer, it's definitely worth growing. Pretty sure dark heart has cuts of it. DH is everywhere in CA.
Well I took picks last week but failed to post until today.....so today's log will be retroactive to Oct. 30: I took some pics just before harvesting the Sweet Soma terminal buds. Loved the color on the SS. AK Widow47 secondaries. These buds were since harvested and are now hanging to dry. Hashish secondaries. Still on the plant as of today. Soon to be harvested in a day or two. Gorilla Bomb secondaries. Coming down today....or when I get to it anyway. And the Sweet Soma:
