Just not right time.... i'll review it as time goes by

Flying under the radar for a while man plus im just not prepared to risk going to jail and having cops n social workers all over me for my son.It aint worth the hassle,id rather just buy weed till such times as iv sussed out this whole landlord thing cos as it is they randomly seem to have reasons to come to my hose.Landlord inspections, gas safety checks ,electrical re-wiring. Im still seeing how the land lies. The fact when they do a landlord inspection every 3 months and that they blatanly do a nosey for people growing weed.Just need to let some time slide by for now as im only 6 months in my new place.Iv got a good family connection with sativas and bluecheese a plenty so im not to fussed but i DO miss having a hobby im right into. Brewing sounds good to me:beerchug: Till such times as i can grow again.Peace:jj:

I've heard of those, but only ever had Ram's Head. Some old guy brings them in my garage and my buddy shares with me. Different taste, but good

Well, the first batch of beer was only so-so, but the second batch was quality - Black Rock Nut Brown Ale. Lovely stuff.

Got a third batch ready to be bottled, Brew Ferm Grand Cru. It's a nice orange colored Belgian ale of some sort. Looks nice. I'm gonna bottle her up tomorrow, I think.

Also, got a Yorkshire Bitter kit and an Imperial Pale Ale kit waiting to get started up.

I'm using these plastic bottles as they are lighter and easier to work with.

Also, got some mushroom action going on. Steel City Smoker came through with the good tip on that site, midwest growkits.com. They have two different types of grow bags, rye and 5-grain. The 5-grain works better.

Anyone looking to grow shrooms, I'd say that the 5-grain pre-packed spawn bags from midwestgrowkits.com and spore syringes from sporeworks.com is an easy way to go.

I'm trying to do a 'spawn-to-bulk- thing at the moment, to get a better yield than the bags produce. The bags are easy, but don't produce that much, it seems. I took the mycelium cake out of the bag and mixed it in a big black tub with a whole brick of coir. Hopefully, it'll work and I'll get a shit load of shrooms in one big batch, but it's too early to tell yet.

Very nice on the beer and shrooms. Those regular mushrooms or the fun kind?

How many of those shrooms does it take to have fun?

I haven't tried any yet. When I used to grow and eat shrooms in my college days, I think about 2-3 grams was good for me.

I've got to try some soon.

I just looked at your links, they won't ship the spores to Ca. When I lived in Hawaii this is where I got them. You hike up the pig trails and arrive before sun up and there were shrooms everywhere. we'd pop them and watch the gliders from the airfield below. They'd buzz right over your head. The place I marked on this pic was always loaded with them. Four or five of them would fry your brain.

Sucks they won't ship to CA. Seems like I see that a lot. Won't ship to California and Idaho.... Anyways, cool pic, sounds like a great time. I used to love shrooming, but never picked any wild. Grew or bought them.

When I came to Japan, 12 years ago, they were legal. For about 2 years after I got here you could buy them in some dodgy type stores. I used to go down to triangle park in Osaka and there was this tiny little lingerie/sex toy shop in a bulding next to it that sold them.
