looks ok, it will probably darken up a little soon but it's not pale enough to be concerned about. Miracle grow will grow some big beautiful buds, just make sure you don't use too much and be EXTRA sure to do a proper loong flush. I think with MG you want like 2-3 weeks of pure H2o before harvest to get the chems out. Someone else, please confirm this?
So the nutes i see in the photo is from miracle grow soil? No need to fertilize for a while if thats the case. Thats some strong shit.
yeah MG, but i always hear people say its no good for MJ but thats great to hear because i dont have the money to buy these expensive nutes i hear about.
It's been pointed out to me that a few of us (me and few others) bag on MG a little too much. :thumbs-up: Good advice. If it's what you got or meets your budget then it's what you use. Most important is your growing your own brotha Deadweed.
Deadweed if mg meets your needs use it. Watch for adding additives. Mg will grow MJ but try to use what is geared towards tomatoes. I personally have used it outdoors many years ago and think it was a good starting point. Not sure of today's MG but you'll prob see nitro def first before you need to feed. Check around to verify that, but you prob dont need to start adding fert until you see signs like slight yellowing or spots. There may be some others but you'll know them when you see them. Don't go crazy adding or feeding and switch to bloom boaster when You start to flower. There are mg threads on here and I'm sure you will find info to help you.if you have questions ask. It is harder to tell what's going on with mg because nutes aren't as controlled if that makes sense. Don't freak out if things don't go right on first grow. I've grown a plant or two and still ask for others opinions and help when I'm not sure. You'll do fine and we have all been there. Like the saying goes even the longest journey starts with a single step. If that first step is Mg its still a step. Ill look for your updates.
Thanks for the info Nippie, and thank you guys for letting me know it's possible with MG. I get so frustrated because I hear people say you can grow with MG or you can grow with or without this, and I think to myself "Thats such BS because MJ has been growing for thousands of years naturally without any human interference just like every other plant" Sure I may not get the biggest yield or the most potent buds, but dammit if I take care of the plant and feed it I can grow buds (if it's Fem of course), this is my first time growing, so I dont want to overdo it and just want to learn basics and get some free bud So really thanks for supporting my theory that I can grow this. As for my MG mix, this is from the website: Miracle-Gro Potting Mix Ferts. 0.21 - 0.07 - 0.14 (NPK?) Is that decent? Or just bare minimals?
You have the right attitude.. that'll take you far.. As far as fert make up, well the numbers on the side are greek to me. I think we all know the basics, but .21 could be a higher nitro than 4 if that makes sense. Depends on what chemical comp their using to get the Nitro. I deal with simil things at my job all the time, something might have a higher protein or calcium content in the raw ingredients, but it may be harder for your body to digest or actually absorb the minerals, vitamins, thus the true calcuim (etc) is lower. You'll prob be good for two mths though, I think that most soil growers have a longer wait til adding nutes due to the additives in the soil that take time to deplete. Read up and ask questions, they are many that can help you and some here that use MG and swear by it. After a grow or two ease your way into our nutes or soils. Some one on here posted a recipe for organic soil with ratios (i think RR, and prob a couple others) that you may wanna try after this grow. Good luck
Hey as Timothy Leary said as his last words, "Why not?" I did do some reading last night, unfortunately this MG mix uses time released nutes which means they must be suspended in some chemical shell making it water insoluble, so I'll have to do a crap load of flushing which is fine.
