Wow, what a cutie. I miss when mine was that little so bad. The pitbull in them makes them so sweet, crazy, and silly. You're making me puppy hungry... stop!
Thank you guys Dude I am already puppy hungry and he is not even grown yet! I want to bottle-feed some more, I miss when he was tiny already! Here are some new pics. He is SO awesome! He is potty trained, almost 10 weeks, and so so smart! He knows sit, leave it, wait, down, potty and jump. Here are some pics from where I left off and up until today. He will be 10 weeks day after tomorrow and he weighs 20 pounds! He is going to be big.
He looks great canna! That put a big smile on my face this morning seeing that puppy growing and happy. :thumbs-up:
MrGJ thank you He is sooo much fun. I have been busy lately but here are some new pics. He is now 13 weeks old and 31-32 pounds. He is going to be a lot bigger than I thought. I am looking at 85-100 pounds. His sister is half his size. I am wondering if they have different fathers. He is probably many breeds, coming off living and breeding on the street, but I see mastiff. Last week Yesterday Here is his sister. These pics were taken the same day. She is 16 pounds. She was adopted and is settling in her new home well.
They have turned into lovely dogs I don't have a recent pic of Calloway but Marley has grown into quite the man! He is almost 50 pounds, recently turned 5 months, and is such a giant lug! I love how he is turning out. It went WAY too fast!
how cute!!!!dogs are awesome, I have 4 myself, all rescues except one which I bottle fed from about 3 weeks old. he's almost 14 now. I say if there are angels on earth they in the form of dogs
Thanks! I also have 4. That is the magic number! That is when it went from my dogs to my pack. The social hierarchy became very obvious. It is interesting watching their dynamics. Marley is the only male and I have an alpha female pitty. She never showed me the hierarchy until Marley. Now even my poodle and chihuahua mixes have more clearly defined places. It is the first time I have had 4, it has been a bit of a learning curve but we have it down now. Let me ask, have you noticed a difference in your bottle-fed dog (bonded closer to you)? Ginny (pittie) put Marley on his back yesterday after he wanted a toy she was playing with. He ran to me, such a mommy's boy. Now he respects Ginny today. It is like wolves. Good thing he is male, Gin would not tolerate another dominant female. She accepts Marley though as co-alpha male, though a little lower that herself. And they are all below me and I can put Gin on her back with just a growl. (Yes I growl at my dogs, it teaches them sooo much better than using words or even hand signals, I started doing it after really watching wolves, and it is so neat to have my dogs understand what I mean and have clear boundaries where before it was more difficult) Rest of the pack, we don't discriminate, such a muttley crew Dogs ARE angels, yes :angel5:
Great job canna..... I LOVE a good rescue story... You are a true ambassador for animals. And yes dogs rule while people drool.... Lol
Great job. He has turned out awesome. Great brood. You also have to remember that Ginny was there first so she will always consider your house hers and most animals will bow to that. I'm curious how she would react to him in a neutral environment.
