I'm looking for Purist buddies. Ones that are hardcore organic growers. Is that YOU? Are you against all in one products? Are you willing and able to feed the Microherd? Randy
What will you and your purist buddies do for fun? Hold meetings and wear white hoods? I'm just jerking your chain, RH.
Hey man, when I get my place out in the country I'll be glad to join you. I'd love to make my own nutes. My dad has two green thumbs and has lived organically all his life. He grows most of his own food from a garden, greenhouse and fruit trees. His parents (my grandparents) live on a farm and have always lived that lifestyle too. They are now pushing 100 and are as mentally alert and active as I am. Just another example of our messed up government is that they allow all these chemicals to be put into our foods, yet we are not allowed to consume 100% organic buds. I always helped my dad with his gardening, but it wasn't until I started growing mj that I became interested in growing other fruits/veggies. The cool thing is that he and I now have something in common. He has become more generous in his older years, and has taken me on several Caribbean trips. It is nice to have something to talk about besides the weather.
every site I go to it seems people have lost an understanding of nature and growing things in the earth. I'm a bit concerned that we are starting to live out of a product base. Hell the very best quality is organically grown. Take tomatoes for example... Buy a hydro one and an organic one. Take a bite of each... You will see really soon. Anyway I'm in for the Organic hood club.
well i have to say: Hell the very best quality is organically grown. Take tomatoes for example... Buy a hydro one and an organic one. Take a bite of each... You will see really soon. Anyway I'm in for the Organic hood club. i couldnt agree with u more there randy. u can see hydro tomatoes- pale and nasty water taste! well i have a couple... one like i said is my chicken shit pile i also throw chicken meal (food) grains etc in there and water to keep it hot. my piles are so active they steam constantly if its even a lil chilly outside. i have another thats food scraps and i started on the other day with str8 manure from the farm beside my house. horse and cow mainly....
Hey randy high I reealy like what you are doing here..I myself am going to school for my agriculture diploma and later want to get into organic farming, everything about being able to using natures fertilizers amazes me. I am living on a farm at the moment, but our fruit and vegtable garden is being moved to a new place on our property due to more animals, and having to enlarge the front paddock area.
I was just recently reading a book on soil abuse and erosion, nothing in the chemical fertilizers that farmers give their crops is doing anything for the nations crops. Also the amount of chemical pestisides The united states use alone was 386 million tons in just one year Imagine all that chemical washing away with the dirt into our water systems
Fire me in there RANDY HIGH!!!! IM all ORGANICS in SOIL!!!! With all ORGANIC NUTES TOO, that il Stand By!!!! Peace, UBB.............
Fish heads, fish heads, rolly-polly fish heads I don't know if this is considered composting, but after my dad goes fishing and cleans the fish, he saves all the heads/guts and tills them into his outdoor garden before planting his fruits/veggies.
Yeah it is... It is the basic thing I believe a living soil is about. Materials in the soil get broken down to plant ready nutrients.
