Awesome stuff AJ! :not-worthy: I did see that you noted flowering time for the top pic, but can you confirm the flowering time on the close ups for me please? I presume the TW is 5 weeks and the skunk is 3? My last bag seed grows flowered reeeeeeally fast compared to the WoWo I'm doing now. Being inexperienced it's nice to have some quality pics to learn from. Keep up the good work, looking forward to more bud porn! :droooling:
The Skunk in the back is at 5 weeks. (honestly I lost track of the exact week, but that's real close :bonk It's a longer running strain and will probably go 10-11 weeks. I topped it in veg and it has 6 main colas that look like they are going to be close to a foot long each. There are a couple Skunk in there at Week 3 also.
Here's a few more. I need to break out the tripod. These pics suck :bj: Trainwreck Hawaiian Skunk R to L SnoCap ® Heavy Duty Fruity © Purple Passion (L) Big fat SnoCap bud Purple Passion I need to tie this bitch up.
Damn Joe nice lineup you have there!!:thumbs-up: Looking healthy as hell and that's a real nice canopy for having all those different strains. I would love to try that Trainwreck.:droooling:
Update: I'm cooking along nicely now. I have 12 girls in flower. 5 will be done this week. 4 in another 4 weeks, and 3 more another 6 weeks. Purple Passion - Just waiting for a few more amber trichs. Any day now. Heavy Duty Fruity - Same thing. Ready any time now. I mentioned earlier that I thought I was going to need a scrubber to deal with odor. Over the last couple weeks the smell has been getting crazy. I had a 6" inline duct booster fan (ie: cheap) that vents directly outside with a passive intake. When I run my booster fan venting outside it STINKS out there. As soon as you step out the door...WHAM!! it hits you. If I don't run the fan, the inside of the house stinks bad. Even though I'm "legal" I just can't be stinking up the neighborhood, or the house, like this. It's going to cause unwanted attention eventually. So I started doing a little research and found out that HTG Supply just opened a new location 3 miles from my house. I'm not real happy with their digital ballasts, or their customer service, but they have good prices that are hard to ignore. I didn't really have the money for this, but I had to do something now, so I ended up going there and getting a Growbright 6" inline fan/24" scrubber + speed control combo for $240.00. I took out the duct booster fan and installed the final piece of my new growroom. A 6" fan is really too big for my area. I could've gotten away with a 4", but with the speed control I was able to get it dialed in nice. Plus I have some additional capacity if needed. Smells are GONE!! No smell outside....No smell inside :thumbs-up: The only thing that stinks now are the plants that are vegging and aren't in the flower room. But it's not that bad and I can deal with that. So, there ya go. :coolbounce:
Very nice AJ! Love what you did with the room.:thumbs-up: I'm looking forward to a smoke report on both.
Groovy Joe! :glasses2: Definitely got your grow on for this one. Save some of that Hawaiian Skunk for spring...I'd really dig getting to try a taste. :coool: disco ball. Got any Bee gees around this place?
Very Impressive! :fireworks:Outstanding job AverageJoe! Your going to be SO happy with each and every one of those strains. Plus, you'll have a shit load of it to decide which you like the best. I'm very happy to see that the ladies are alive and well . . . everytime I come by you say the :lights: are out. I just figured you'd killed them all and were embarrassed to admit to it.:rofl6::kidding: Excellent pics of some excellent plants! Great job!:fireworks::alienwink:
OK. To me, this is absolutely HUGE news. So, can I just stop all the Ph monitoring and adjustments and crap? I mean, it seems to be working quite well for you AJ. I've thought about taking a plant and mixing the same nutrient solution concentrations like I normally do, but not adjusting or monitoring the Ph at all, ever.
Bump to bump, but I'm very very curious about this Ph situation that AJ describes. I'd love a lil more clarification on the topic of not Ph-ing nute solution. Personally I find the whole Ph-ing process painstaking and tedious. But I figure it's a necessary evil. Now I read what AJ is doing and I'm like "Shit, maybe I don't have to do all the Ph crap everytime I feed/water."
