Can't wait to hear the report. Did you save any males?

    Summary

This concludes the pictorial comparison. I think it was very visually apparent that the two are fundamentally, genetically different.

I hope it's been clear from my descriptions that there is no comparison in the high. I was outright disappointed with 2 of 3 El Niño and hermaphroditic tendencies were displayed by the Feminized seed.

The La Niña is hands down, THE BEST weed I've ever grown, and it's in my top 5 strains smoked ever. It's GREAT! I have never been a person that doesn't finish a bowl, if I load it, I smoke it. No matter how large the smoking utensil. With La Niña, I take 2-3 hits and forget to keep smoking.

I took some to a friend's place, they were just finishing a Joint...we loaded the bong and when it made the second pass all three declined, one guy said, I feel like I'm floating, another said, that one bong rip was equal to that entire joint.

I had never even given this strain a second glance...I don't know why it hasn't caught on, I hope I can help change that. You all should try this!!!

I really wish I could send you all samples! I got just over 5oz total from this run which isn't that bad for me if you factor in the 3.4L pots I used, I'm sure I'd have yielded more with more soil...oh well.

Thanks everyone for following along and offering insight and encouragement.

P.S. I'll do the official smoke report in the strain base soon.

Black Widow and Haze sounds like a killer combination. LN is probably the next strain I'll get.

I also got a couple hermies from a pack of fem GWS. I'm planning on starting the gws (1 clone and 1 fem seed) -vs- a pack of Shark Shock in a couple months.

Nice job Grat. I was wondering what happened, hadn't seen the final results yet.

Something told me you wouldn't be disappointed with the La Nina. Looks like they needed another week or two to fully ripen and fatten the calyxes IMO, but they sure are frosty.

So before you do the smoke reports, let me ask you here -

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best...

Rate the smell, flavor and effect/potency of El Nino - (by effect = body or cerebral)

    Smell -

    Flavor -

    Effect and Potency -

Rate the smell, flavor and effect/potency of La Nina - (by effect = body or cerebral)

    Smell -

Summarize the yield of the two strains? (i.e. El Nino xxxx grams, La Nina xxxx grams)

BTW, without going to the front of the thread to review, what light are you using?

Not to sound like I'm harping, it looks like you need to work out your fert schedule a bit. I think you run organic, yes? If you want some advice, hit me up dude, can give you a few different things to try out.

Also, PM me for your prize(s)!

Cheers, it was great to follow along with this.

HHHG - I hope you do try the LN, I have no doubt that you will be satisfied.

I didn't save a male. I'm still just using this cab so making seeds isn't something I do intentionally. It seems crazy but I'd be willing to do another run from seed to do more pheno hunting but I'm in no way dissatisfied with these.

Big TT - Cheers man, glad you followed.

Res - Thanks but I think this run showed that I need to become a more skilled gardener. It's NOT listed as a beginner strain, Moderate Difficulty I believe. It is without a doubt a strain that is worth getting to know and "dialing-in". I can't wait till I get this one down.

I really didn't expect it top everything I've ever grown but there's not really any contest. Not my Ice, nor "Cheese", not Bubblelicious, nor Euforia, not White Widow, nor Brainstorm could stand up to this. It's all about the HIGH.

    La Niña Delivers.

    Grat

P.S. Useless, I'm working on a proper response.

Thanks for putting me up to this Useless. I've already gotten a bit education and the best strain I've ever grown out of this comparison. It's been one of the most rewarding experiences of my growing career.
