Looks like your nets are at just the right height to be at the bend when they get heavy. Any chance of raising it a couple inches?

  4. skunky

    skunky labor smoke'n lumberjack

Of course. My sole purpose of the net is to spread out the plant a little better. Though if I need more support I can raise it as needed. But I will only do that if they are too top heavy for when moving around the for res changes. Which is a good chance I will have to but I'll do that as they bulk up. Not a concern of mine at the moment, but definitely a constant consideration. Thanks to you and FF for the good looking out.

Oh and FF that's not panda, that's just 5 mil painters plastic. I like it better since it gets the job done and is hellaciously cheap. Yet I grow with LED instead of HPS. :jj: LOL

Picture of health skunky. Been really cool to watch a couple growers I trust show what current tech LEDs can do.

Thanks bid bud. I like a little variety. Hopefully after a couple more rounds I can decide whether I want to keep all or just one of the diesel varieties. Haven't got to check out the chunky yet, and not sure the background on the headband either since they both came from some club in Colorado. Anyways. Here is day 21 pics. :smokin:

What's with the dramatically different colors? Is that the plants or the light?

Either way they look like rock stars. :not-worthy: Good to see a space packed wall to wall with weed, and luscious healthy lovin life weed too.

The sweet tooth was that good, huh? Is it the same sweet tooth you just pulled? Shit I wonder what the ST x Dab will be like!!!??? Oooohhhhh Sweet Dadney!

I guess I never updated the post with the specs of both lights. The light I ran last round was the XGS-190 with all XTE 3750K white 5W CREE diodes. Then I bought a second light and wanted to see what the extra red would do so I bought the new RW-150. The RW is half and half white and red 5W CREE diodes XTE 5700-6200K plus XPE 630nm reds. So that's the color difference you see. The added red now gives more of the color you would see under and HPS. Not exactly but more so than the all white was. If you look above you can even see pics i took of the two lamps and you can tell drastic differences in the whites used.

My Lights(*note; Area 51 is in the works for making larger lights that should be available in about a month or two. 300W and 500W versions of my RW-150)

Yeah interested to see what those dabney x sweet tooth are. But, yes those are the same sweet tooth as I just pulled. We have had that one between me and a couple guys for about 8 years or so now, the guy we got it from had some of the original seed stock from 1999. Supposedly the seeds we got were from the seed stock that won the cup for Barney's farm in 2000 and 2001. I was going to germ today but haven't got around to it. Did a res change, and cleaned the old reservoirs, and then trimmed the ever living shit out of the moms and took about 20 cuts today. I've been really surprised how good that 17W 6500K LED from walmart is doing in the veg cab. Great for the small setup. Crazy my electricity bill for a 1500sqft house total is only about ~$75/mo since I started using these. I think I spend more money a month on the TV and surround sound than the grow. LOL (that's jokingly, I have no clue. Just my surround sound is over 1000W itself.) But I can say I'm paying the same as I was last year with similar temps running CFLS throughout the house and no grow as I am with the whole house LED and the grow. So other than start up costs, from what I was used to already doing a month makes it almost like being able to grow for free. Kinda nuckin' futts! LOL

HPS and CMH are badass no doubt, but.... for a small grow it just makes soo much more sense to go LED. Just makes it soo much easier on maintaining temps and environment. Then you have reduced monthly charges from the electricity company. With the environment more easily to dial in and with the newer technology of all this pH perfect nutrients man it's sooooooo simple now. You no longer have to assume the role of a research scientist you can now operate like a tech at work. You can have basic knowledge and get good results soo much more easier. I'm glad I'm checking out this Canna. I had no clue that they had just redone the nutrients not too long ago. it had been years since I used them. Then I found some people who had used AN pH perfect and used canna aqua and saying the canna was even more stable and better results. While I can't say one is better than the other with the variables between the two, but I can say the canna aqua line is just as easy and user friendly as the AN sensi 2 part pH perfect. That and you can get the entire canna line for much less than the AN. Like $250 vs $800-1000 just if you were buying litre bottles. Though I didn't use anything other than bud candy from AN last round. This round I'm using everything but Boost Canna has to offer. Though in place of boost i'm using a little AN bud candy, small bit of plantation blackstrap molasses(only 0.5mL per gal, this one is like 20% Ca and Mg), and superthrive. So for my nutrient program I'm using Canna aqua flores A and B, cannazyme, rhizotonic, superthrive, bud candy, and plantation blackstrap molasses.

I liked the canna when i tried it... I didn't like the dilution rates... Rhizotonic kicks ass...
