I am not seeing it you must be putting it in. Ha Ha thats what she said! Running back and forth planting. Now its there t6
It's up. We should each come to our own conclusions on risk and local laws. Each state's laws can be reviewed at norml.org. Use, figured as much. But I'll still vote NC on principle alone now.:roffl:
Florida? Just a poke at our buddies favorite state...seeing how he decided to go back and give LEO there another shot at him. Oregon, just because I really really really want an excuse to ride Mt. Hood in summer and can't quite give up the ghost. NC- I've found some very private secure locations with lockable entry gates. Maine- Very liberal MJ laws with under 2.5 oz being a civil violation and a $350 fine. Washington-gonna scratch that one...oops.
DO NOT be afraid of NC. These are my stomping grounds from the mountains to the coast. I've been toking in these areas for 11 years with no problems. 1.5 oz or under is a misdemeanor, and places in the mountain regions are VERY pot friendly. In NC, as long as you are not being an idiot, on public or private property, most cops could give a fuck if you have pot. I have a life long friend who is a cop in Greensboro who has confirmed this with his actions.
LOL Not trying to be difficult . . . I accidentally voted for Colorado, could someone change that to Florida for me?:rofl6::kidding:
Just a quick question . . . Does the Bud/Astro East Coast selection get two votes or just one? I am a difficult fucker, aren't I?!?!?!
I don't know how I missed this thread! At least I made it to the party late before it was over. :thumbs-up: My thoughts are that I would love to have it in CA. Even though we didn't pass prop19, we did completely decriminalize and possession of anything uder an ounce is a petty ticket, no more than $100 fine, no court appearance, it's the equivalent of a speeding ticket or maybe less since it doesn't affect your ins. rates or count against your driving record. There are lots of nice places in CA. Have you looked into the King's Range area. Near the coast, beautiful forested mountains, only a few minutes to the beach. There are several more secluded slightly off the main path campgrounds with basics like pit toilets, fire pits, tables. We stayed at a campground in King's range for almost a week in August and never had a neighbor. The weather is nice that time of year out by the coast, not too hot, but nice sunny afternoons for walks on the beach. There is The Lost Coast just 15 min away with 21 miles of untouched pristine shoreline only accessible by foot or boat, no roads. A beautiful black sand beach etc. etc. We loved our time there. It's the Redway exit off of Highway 101. Very nice very secluded. Shelter Cove is the tiny little community at the end of the road that takes you to The Lost Coast. Google it and it will come up. I'm not apposed to CO though is Cali doesn't get the nod. What I do know for sure is that we ARE coming to the next event! I'm not going to miss it again, that's for sure! We have months to get all our ducks in a row. On a related but insignificant side note. Our 14 year wedding anniversary is August 8'th, so it will be our anniversary vacation. Either CA or CO as my second choice. If it's Northern CA or Co it's close to the same distance for us. Arcata is about 14 hours from here so not too much different than driving to CO for us.
you missed this thread because it's hidden from the general community for security reasons. :rofl6: Useless, tell Zipper, RasGanJah took his vote, but I'm sure it was for the same location. I am VERY excited to have a Meet-n-Greet Ganjah's Anniversary campout. Kick ass. We're planning on having the place picked out by early Jan, so people can plan like you just mentioned. This vote is looking much closer than I thought. :alienwink:
It was never discussed. All I know is each committee member has a vote. We agreed to two new members so I figured they would each carry a vote. If you guys want it different say so and we can put it up for a vote.:roffl: Oh yeah...that means we'd have to settle the initial question wouldn't it? While we're on the subject....mods voting in committee polls. While we appreciate and welcome any and all comments it makes it hard to gauge committee intent with random mod votes getting mixed in. If the boss wants to throw in I get that and he is the boss after all so hey.....click away.:thumbs-up: But we'd appreciate it we could generally try to keep the polling as clean as possible. Thanks guys! cheers and holiday tokes to all,
Well Rocky entered the question some time ago I was just trying to verify it. As far as the votes I thought it was just the commitee members which would now total 9 right?? I know the other mods have access and appreciate their imput. I did not think they were going to vote?? Anyway I am ok with what everybody decides. t6
The beauty is that we have no set way of doing this and anything that happens is just another learning lesson that we can move on from. I think we're on the right track and I also think that the votes and voters have been fair and each area has proper representation. That said, I think if we just continue to move forward, thats the best we can ask for. Definitely NO hard feelings about anything whatsoever. Who all is remaining that needs to vote? PharmDoc and one other? As far as I'm concerned, this is going very well and we're right on track. :alienwink:
I realized all that after I had already posted. . I get it all now. I'll be happy to just be at the next meet n greet. Disregard my post. And if my vote can be removed or whatever do what you need to do. I realized late that I got to the party late cuz I wasn't invited.
Why would we want to disregard it?? Your input is welcome on the location as well as from the rest of the mods who were not at the meet and greet. We are open to all suggestions and ideas t6
I'm all red and feeling sheepish. Duh! I just jumped into the middle of an ongoing discussion that I wasn't initially invited into. I'm glad you feel my input is valued though, thanks. Like I said I WILL make it to the next event.
Well Ras there were only seven of us well actually 8 but one was a non member at the Greet so we decided that those would be the planning commitee for the next greet. t6
Ras- Post away my grow brother. Any and all input is valuable. We started this little room just to try and keep some control of topic drift. If we tried this thing on the open boards nothing would ever get accomplished. But back here, mods and admin are invited to chime in with advice or opinions. It's just the voting that we're trying to keep isolated to the committee members. I think Pharm and me are the only uncast votes. Anybody buying votes? cheers,
