LumiGrow ES 600w Challenge

alright, the test area is nearing completion. all thats left is the light barrier. i am picking up the remainder of the pots in the morning, then the test will officially be underway. lets peep some pics.....

Are you gonna put a divider wall between the two grow areas?


Do you know what angle the LEDs are?

 

So you have 600w of hps & 600w of led's So the power useage should be the same. So if it's true what they say about the led's you should get 3 times the buds you get with the hps's. I can't see that happening with the same amout of plants but I'll be watching:new_popcornsmiley: -Bud

 

there is a light barrier between the 2 test areas.


the diodes have a 120 degree light beam.

update time. gonna take me a while, lots of pics...


for my medium i am using Pro Mix. i also added hydroton to the bottom of the containers. i want to really take advantage of all the aeration holes in these containers. the containers that i am using are 12"x12" square pots. you can find them on Hydrofarm - Grow Lights, Hydroponics and More!. i forget how many gallons they are, hehehe, straight up stoner. anyways, let peep the planting process....

these clones come from the same mother. they are Purple Rain, which is a Purple#1xBigBud cross. i never stray away from this strain. its my baby, hehe. it has a flowering time of 8 weeks, and gets deep purple, all the way through. each test area has clones of the same size and structure, for fairness. usually i wouldnt care, but this is a TOUCHY test. lots of critics about, very picky individuals, hehehe.
