It would take seconds using conventional short range delivery missiles to put all those S. Korean lights out and burn millions of people to death. That's why it matters.

N. Korea has done this dance for decades under father and now son. Idiot nationalist narcissism runs deep in the Kim line. In the past, Presidents countered with measured restraint because of the fifty million hostages those bright lights on the map represent. In a war with NK the lives of surviving S. Koreans would be shattered and a healthy economic contributor to global democracy would be thrown into chaos. Our already strained budget would be loaded with yet another war we can't afford in response.

This is why we don't historically ratchet up the bellicosity with a dangerous tyrant who has nuclear capability. Of course the Orangeness barely knows that he's dealing with the son and daddy Kim is dead much less grasp the history that every president since Clinton has dealt with something like this from NK.
