my dog is getting old these days. i wish i was at home and not here at school so i could throw a ball for him. i dont want to be gone while he enjoys his senior years. Just thinking about losing him is jerking me around. i am so sorry that you lost your companion lemonpie. may your puppy be bright eyed and full of energy. but not full of poop... at least till he's trained.
Hi Lemon. I hope that bringing this to the top doesn't raise any bad memories, but I was just wonderin' how you and the Mr. were doin'? I do hope that you're coping with this. You have impressed me with your posts as a person of character & dignity. Wishing you and yours peace. JP
Thank you so much Pete! I'm feeling a bit better and hubby wants me to stop fussing over him, so he's feelling somewhat normal I guess. You're kind thoughts are much appreciated, all of you
Lemon... Just a quick note to help you and your husband to ease the days of grieving... I found after my loss of Dexter...that to talk about him alot helped me cope...bringing Dexter up in conversation whenever I thought of him...just really seemed to keep his spirit with me...hope this helps you move on through these early days of truly missing your best damn friend...Sig...take care Lemon...DC
So sorry for your loss Lem.....I know I would be so sad if I lost my dog. I lost my cat this past summer and cried for weeks & I still miss Sylvestor....so I do feel your pain. Peace to you & your hubby.
That sucks, I'm sorry to hear that. My dog is 14 years old (human years), and I think he's getting there. It makes me sad, he is deaf and partially blind. He can't sit down and can't run as fast as he used to. But one time I blew 5 fat sobe hits in his face and he ran around all night like he was a puppy again. its inevitable that one day soon he wil be gone. I'll miss him.
