I looked through the thread, and I didn't see that you had posted which nutes you are using. What are you using?

Your cal/mag deficiency should have been caused by your distilled water-but even then-for those little guys, there should be enough in your nutes.

If it were me-I would start with a fresh rez change of tap water and nute soloution-and run that for a week-keeping an eye on any new growth to see if it shows signs of deficiencies-and also if there is any improvement. Too much cal/mag can lockout other nutrients causing other problems that you'll have to troubleshoot.

Also what is your ph? What ppm are you running?

It just strikes me funny that those little guys already have a deficency problem. I looked your strain up on the web site to see if it was a nute sensitive strain-but it doesn't say. If that is the case-it could be possible that your nutes already have too much CA for your strain-and it is locking out the MG. From what I'm seeing it looks like a MG deficency.

Thats why I would start with the fresh tap water and nute soloution change. Thats just my opinion though.

Ok, switched these babies over to straight phed water to flush, cleaning/sterilizing the rez and getting ready to add nutes. The nutes I'm using is GH 3 part Flora series. I will be putting in 5 ml micro, 5 ml grow, and 2.5 ml bloom, Thanks for the advice OR

By MG, do you mean Mg?

Yes but theres sulfur in there as well which has cal in it to a lesser extent, the plants get what they need

I was talking MAG-not Midnight Garden-sry. I don't see a reason why they should be deficient in anything-do you guys? The only reason for any would be RO/Distilled water.

I just checked out your nutes-and only the micro has CA. It gives a feed for mild veg of 1 tsp-and a feed of 3 tsp for Aggressive veg. So-you could split that down the middle and add 2 tsp. of micro-while leaving your others the same if you still see signs of deficiency. All of the 3 part contain Mag.

The point of a 3 part mix is that you can adjust the differnt nutes-tailoring them to your particular strain.

I've been using the GH 3 Part "Useless" Formula for years now and highly recommend it.

You may have to occasionally make some minor tweaks based on individual strain needs, and I've had to add a bit of Cal/Mg for some strains during transition, but otherwise it's idiot-proof.

    Good luck :passsit:

I'm sorry, my brother, but there is no Calcium in Sulfer. Sulfer is sulfer.

Now, I will grant you that you can, in fact, fix a calcium lockout problem by adjusting the Mg, but to say there is any calcium in Epsom salts is just wrong.

Sounds solid to me-if its worked for others-it will prolly work for you too highman.

I've never used GH 3 as I hate to mix crap.

The sulfur in Epsom Salts is part of the Magnesium Sulfate molecule, it is not free floating sulfur that was mined as a separate mineral.
