Blah long story short killed all the fan leaves on my first plant. Still, to this day, best plant I ever grew. It's one of my photo albums. You have the same thing I had. Bushy plants from the start due to an accident

I really cant wit to see what happens when i pop them under the MH... So far they have vegged under just the CFLs i have from IKEA lol... they are 4 bulb fixtures where each bulb has 500 lumens... so a total of 4000 lumens from both lights... The 400Ws o MH should boost em huh

 

Somehow I get the impression GK would have had you covered had your girls not recovered the way they did... Nonetheless :good job:

big update time


i finally finished installing my inline fan and the exhaust duct... there is an intake already so i am getting temps of 89-90 at 18 inches from tehh plants... i had to put a window fan in there to help a lil with temp and circulation...


first is a pic of the closet with the bifold doors open... the upper left is teh veg/clone area... lower left mom.veg area... and flower room is closed door to right...





so here are the ladies and the light...

the intake and window fan and of course the ladies...

 

You don't have an exhaust fan, do you? If not... a sm. CAN fan would get you into, or closer to, the optimal temp. range.

i have a 6" inline booster fan running and just checked the ladies after being in the room with the door closed for 2.5 hours and the temps hit 85... i had the thermometer alot closer than i thought,.. i now have the light 16" from the canopy and its 85

 

I couldn't tell, for certain re: inline.


It's obviously a smaller, cheaper fan, by the looks of it. When and if you can afford it, look into a HIGHER output (ie. CAN). I have a bigger area than you, so I went with a 6" CAN. SOB sucks some major air! It dropped my temps. 10-15 degrees! Your temps. are alittle HIGH. Get them down in the 70's and you'll have much better results.

budget is major factor as that booster fan is only $24 at lowes... vs $120 for a centrifugal fan... not to mention my space is only 56 cubic feet...

ok i think this is better... with the light 16" from the canopy im getting 84... i think i will go from a 4" intake to a 6" intake if needed... but im thinking 84 is good for daytime temp...

 

I totally understand. Just something to consider in the future.


It doesn't matter how small the space. HIGH temps. are HIGH temps.


My walk-in is like 3'x10'x8' and anything smaller than the 6' would've been a waste of cash.

i welcome all and every comment and suggestion... i would love to run the higher cfm fans believe me and will be an upgrade asap... i am a complete newbie and take all advice as a learning tool... i figure 84 is doable until i can increase the intake to a 6" vs the 4" i have now... im guessing taht will lower temps a couple degrees... enjoy the hash
