We did flip the switch on the same day. I was kinda under the impression the first week didnt really count, more like a transition period. I would love to believe they only have 3 weeks to go. But yes it is 5 weeks of 12/12. Obviously the trichs are all clear, I snipped a half inch off a leaf to take a peep under the 50x scope. I was amazed to be looking at my own trichromes :thumbsup:. I plan to harvest when they are about 80% cloudy 20% amber. Okay so I would love to have someone chime in and let me know if I should consider this week 4 or week 5 of flower. This is my first grow and dont want to mess it up from here so guess I'm just kinda curious as to when I should start flushing. Plants are still really green. A couple of the very bottom fan leaves have yellowed and dropped but thats it so far. I kinda figured I had about four weeks to go from here so I figured feed week 5 and 6 and start flushing a couple days into week 7 until harvest. So whats everyones opinion? Peace

 

Who cares what week it is, your going to harvest by trich colour :thumbsup:

Just thought Id throw up one more pic today since you folks havent seen the plants in the cab since my first post. Its badly overgrown, it will probably cost me in weight before the grow is finished.





With only a few weeks to go headroom still shouldnt be an issue. I have 4" to play with still. I dont think I ever adjusted the height this last week so they arent climbing anymore but hopefully filling out. Peace

 

Thanks alot ResinRubber. The CFLs have done me fair enough but like I was warned there wont be any quantity to this grow. Ill just have to do better next time!

Thanks guys. I bought all the panels I need for construction of my new box with the exception of the doors. Im not going to rush it. Ill chop when 80% cloudy, 20% amber. Im just not sure when to start flushing being this is my first grow. Ive checked trichs once about a week ago. All were clear. Ill take a look again tomorrow. I know I have a few weeks to go so probably I dont need to look for a week or two, I just dont wanna screw it up now hehe. Peace

 

Hey Virago, I like to start flushing when the trichs are almost all cloudy, then they normally have about two weeks to go before harvest, by then they will be ready for a nice chop and cure... :thumbsup:

 

Thanks! I know it will vary from strain to strain and growing conditions, BUT when abouts is that on a 6-8 week strain? Roughly week 6? Hell I gotta go snip a leaf off and take a peek hehe

 

Okay time for end of week 6 update. I checked the trichs yesterday and some are still clear, some half cloudy half clear and some cloudy. Since this is my first grow and I dont really know what to do Im just going to go ahead and flush from here on out. So without further ado..

Those are so beautiful man. I have 5 Ak-48 above ground right now, this thread makes my mouth water for the future. I have had a REAL bad problem with stretch, vegging them under cfls and don't think I had it close enough.
