I have temporarily slated my thirst for wander by buying a new house. But my normal state of being is tapping my foot, a weather eye on the horizon. Someday I am going to either buy or build a moderate sized wood hulled schooner, and do nothing but mess around with it from then on. With any luck I'll even get to sail somewhere. My bumper sticker says "I'd rather be sailing" :thumbs-up:
I'd like to take on my pops dream. Travel the entire pacific crest trail with just a couple horses. Hopefully while sampling some of the native herbalties along the way. Probably need to own a horse and still be on the west coast but it's something to think about
When time comes for me to be put out to pasture theres only one of 2 places im gonna be.Either the island of Mull,specifically the harbour twon of Tobermory. Or another smaller island called Wee Cumbrae just of the scotland west coast. Thats gods country out there between Ireland and Scotland.You could sail those waters for the rest of your life and still never see all the inland lochs and shit.Plenty mountains and scenery.Yup,put me on an island where they have one part time police officer working out a bedroom in a house and i'll grow myself into a happy retirement
