I took pics yesterday but forgot my camera at my buddy's place, so no update until sunday now.

Here are my outdoor girls. They are all flowering now. None of them are huge but they are healthy and happy. Hopefully I'll get some nice buds from these girls in a couple months.

Im expecting mine to be done in about a month and a half.


Im gonna snap some more photos later this afternoon. I cant believe how big they are getting. Once again ive gone bigger than i wanted to...

How is this grow in comparison to last years? For some reason I thought last year was bigger. Maybe I htought that cuz of your problems starting up this year? I dunno.

Thanks Dan! I wish I could have let them get bigger but I have to keep them on the smaller side for security reasons. The plants are right in my front yard amongst my vegetables and other plants.


We usually harvest in late September or early October, but some strains that are long flowering could go longer if necessary. Here in southern California we have very mellow weather. Unless we get an unusually early frost we should be good to go as far as temperatures until at least late November maybe early December before we see any really cold nights, and by really cold I mean cold enough to frost the ground. I still have tomatoes and pepper plants alive from last summer that made it all the way through winter and are still producing lots of fruits. I know that up there in Canada your winter probably comes on much faster but you guys get longer days with more sunlight during your summer than we do so it compensates for the shorter duration of your growing season.


I too have some crazy dreams when my plants are in full flower and start to stink really good. They alternate between being raided by the feds and fighting off rippers that are trying to steal my sacred herb. Neither scenario is something I want to ever have to deal with. I may do some front yard camp outs this fall. :thumbs-up:

 

Took these pics earlier today. I hate the way the yellow leaves make the plant look, but I let the plant drop them when its ready instead of remove them. The deficiency hasnt progressed since I fed.

No, this year has gotten just as big, if not bigger. Plus i have 4 more plants than last year.


I was whining earlier on about expecting smaller bushes because i started 2 weeks late. But they have caught up. The tall ones i got are a different strain than the other 4, and those 3 are taller than my fence. Ive had to tie them over several times now.
