thanks bro it's good stuff. Wish i could grow in my back yard like that.:thumbs-up: looks pretty awesome
09/18/11 I had to pick the Devils weed today, it was having issues with bud rot. I watched it for 3 days and took out the rotten stuff but it kept spreading. It took me 5 hours to trim the damn thing. This video is this morning before I picked it. Smoked the scissor hash and it was kick ass!
If you're asking about the tall bud in the foreground, that is the Sweet Dreams. It is GDP x Humboldt Skunk and it is starting to purple up a little bit. It smells like grape candy. That plant is from seed that I got from my last indoor grow (I had a male clone I did not know was male until it was too late).
Thanks BB, this is actually the smallest outdoor grow I have ever done and so it makes it pretty easy to control things.
Devils Weed Harvested Two Weeks Early Well, due to security concerns the whole garden came down yesterday (09/22/11). We have had 3 instances that I am aware of of people getting shot trying to steal someones pot out of their yard. About three weeks ago I almost shot the guy that walked into my yard to install my smart meter, poor dude almost shit his pants. I had him on video bypassing the lock on my gate to get in the yard. When my security system went off I came out the back door just as he was entering the gate. The dude was pleading for me not to shoot his ass. The only reason I didn't shoot him was because I had the drop on him and he was not a threat. I told him that I was sure his boss would not condone their employees breaking into someones property and unless he wanted that video sent to his boss he'd keep his fucking mouth shut (he clearly saw the grow). I never saw a guy work so fast to install a meter! So then a few days after that some rippers jumped a fence and where in the process of stealing dudes stuff when he confronted them. They (the rippers) shot the homeowner, as far as I know no one died. About a week ago some young kids got caught in a backyard stealing someone else s stuff. Then just yesterday a grower shot and killed a ripper he caught in his backyard. That was the last straw for me. I'm not going to live in my own house wondering if I'm going to get shot or have to shoot someone. So I spent all day yesterday trimming and will be trimming for the next couple of days it looks like.
I just don't think it's safe to grow outside in your own yard. My wife and I were walking around our neighborhood and spotted a couple of grows. There were easy to see because the plants were growing over the top of the fence. Also, even if you try to block the view by using black plastic or some other means to cover the cracks in the fence, a ripper is going to wonder what is going on. BTW, a few weeks ago we had our "Smart Meter" installed. The guy came to the front door and asked permission to enter our back yard first. to hear that you had to chop early, but it is probably for the best.
when I read "unless you want your boss to see that video I suggest you keep your fuckin' mouth shut" I was rolling dude. Funny stuff... but it is a fucked up situation to have to worry about shooting someone to defend what's yours. My stuff isn't on private property. I still go out armed every time I check on it though. Not just because I think I'm going to catch someone stealing it, but because there are bears around there and they scare the shit out me.
Move along, show's over, nothing to see here Well, thanks to everyone for following this thread. Everything got trimmed, dried and packaged. I made a trip to my local dispensary right after taking this pic and donated (as in gave them) 7 of the bags you see in this pic. I kept one for myself. The one I kept is the Kandy Kush, this stuff is the fucking bomb. The black pot you see in the pic is the seeds I got from Afghanistan. I am going to do some ghetto breeding with Green Crack, BC God Bud and the Afghan seeds. I've got my indoor stuff started and will be starting a new thread for that as soon as someone fixes the problem with the pics, as it stands, it's a royal pain in the ass at the moment to post pics here! Don't want to go into too much detail about the whole incedent with the smart meter guy less I compromise my security, but let's just say I only told you part of the story. Everyone stay safe and happy harvest!
Looks like a great harvest in spite of everything. That's really good to hear about the Kandy Kush, as I'm growing some right now. Can't wait for it to finish.
