What a day. Thought I had a root canal scheduled today. Nope. Drove to the city and took care of some business then drove back to sac and decided to go club hoping just to see what I could see. Not much really, bunch of airhead twenty something's that know little to nothing about weed. Out of seven clubs, exactly zero had any cuts at all, nada (that time of year). Finally found some bud called super jack at Alpine Alternative, straight cheese fire.

It's a lot of work prepping the dirt and getting everything set but it's pretty much cruise control after that. And, there nothing like hoing your ass off when you're stressed the fuck out. It's a thing I picked up long ago.

The hard candy is a recipe from allrecipes.com With the hard candy you have to cook it low and slow, minimum 45 minutes to get up to temp or it will not harden right. Add the oil when it's done cooking, then you have to work fast when it's done because you only get about 5 minutes before you can't work it anymore. How much oil you use is a personal preference, this is for someone that has fibromyalgia so they like it strong. I ate a couple of pieces yesterday morning and I was good for the day. The chocolate is just a bar of ghirardelli melted over a double boiler with some oil added. I've been having issues getting the oil incorporated in the chocolate so you get a consistent taste across each piece. I tried this time to melt the oil into the baileys and then add the chocolate. What a mess! I ended up with a dough ball of chocolate so I had to add a couple of shots of cream to make it viscous again. It never did harden right, it's like fudge now.
