I been waiting for this day,a new dawn!Im gonna get some UK forums into it,petitions

assit: I ws just reading and rep to a PM over at GP from administrator JOHNY APPLE(GP ADMIN) regarding this subject.Our prisons are over crowded and the majority of MJ dealers,growers and tokers who are inside pose NO threat to the public at all,if they wont let them all go then give MJ users PLITICAL STATUS in jail like the I.R.A fought for via hunger strikes in the 80's(many young men died so that they would NOT be classed as criminals but instead political prisoners or prisoners of conscience.It worked,the UK govt caved in to the daily media showing "some mothers son"(great true life film starring helen mirren all about hunger striker Bobby Sands M.P who won a local belfast election for a seat in the UK parliament while incarcerated,he died during the hunger strikes and several others like him before he could gain freedom and take his seat in parliament as part of the sinn fein political wing /party of the Provisional Irish Republican Army,being classed as a political prisoner gives you many priveleges and the h8nger strikes struck a chord with the britiish even though we were getting bombed on the mainland for years during the troubles,thankfully tony blair came to power and got a guy by the name of GEORGE MITCHELL to oversee the 'good friday agreement' where ALL political paramilitary prisoners with political status were all freed,some were doing life sentences but it was all part of the ceasefire agrement that is still in effect in northern irlenad today and like us scotsmen they now have a power sharing devolved govt that controls N/Irleand although London STILL gives us and them and Wales their monetery budgets,et....


I told Johnny what we need is to create a TRUST or a COMMITEE and an organisation to replace or merge with the ailing NORML,which imo has now become merely a org for info and a cross between that a forum and an icmag or hightimes type magazine instead of a hardcore MJ activist org.If we could get a massive coalition of forums like GP,GK and MJP to name a few to join and sign up then we can create a council made up of the largest forums and the founding forums for the purposes of things like a synchronised european and american million stoner march to the whitehouse,westminster palace and the hague aswell as other key areas,we can do it the GHANDI way,non agression but still willing to go to jail for our beliefs,i for one would go to jail as part of a properly organised and orchestrated campaign of activism to free the weed.So many of these things have failed in he past due o lack of UNITY,we need to have passionate activists,diversity and blow the typical stoner stereotype out of the water,we need accountants,law officials and all the oher ppl in life who will be taken notice of and who toke or grow weed to stand up and all light a spliff all on 4/20/2010(thats an acheivable goal/target),we need to be UNITED and show SOLIDARITY for "the cause"otleaf:


In the UK we had the LCA(LEGALISE CANABIS ALLIANCE) which was a political party with good ideas and goals but at their last election they didnt win enough votes to retain their £100,000 bond required to run and stand as a political party and this was due to the ppl in charge only concentrating in their own areas instead of the big cities like my city of Glasgow and London,etc.They are still an organisation but have lost their political status which is a shame cos making jailed MJ users have political status via fighting the machine from in the belly of the beast would have done wonders and ppl would have had to take stock that 70% of the 12-60 yrs old population have eithr smoked weed or grown it or still do and thats an approx statistic.Ppl are too afraid to lose all they have by coming forard to testify that they are tokers/growers and have no criminal records and good govt civilian jobs,etc.


We need to campaign vigirously for a REFERENDUM or at LEAST a national debate on the HEMP issue,afterall its a billion dollar cash crop that could end 3rd world famine/hunger,its uses apart from medicial are too many to name...put it this way the 1st ever ford car ws built and FUELLED eniely out of HEMP!!!! The oilmen dont want MJ legal as they know that it would only be a matter of time before the papermills that kill ancient trees for paper would be replacd by hemp plant that can grow every season and makes BETTER more DURABLE paper,hell a pair of hemp denims are good to go for a 100 years,why ya think hemp was used so much in the world war in the navy?It made the best rope,its seeds are full of protein and above all if it can make a car and FEUL that means we have a new renewable energy but weird that it never gets mentioned...YES PPL HEMP CAN BE MADE INTO GAS FOR YOUR CAR!What else does OIL make?PLASTICS! Hemp plastics are more tougher than most metal alloys...FACT!So WHY dont we use this amazing cash crop to the max,even for med purposes alone

I think we need to organise a massive coalition of forums like growmoreweed,greenpassion,growkind,marijuanapassion,etc and get every active member to 'pay it forward' type thing,in gratitude for all their forums have taugh them they should pay it forward by geting involvd in MJ politics,get active,even if only donaing or going to jail for not paying all them MJ fines that build up like parking tickets.NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND HAVE WE HAD A TOOL LIKE HE INTRNET AT UR DISPOSAL..Just look at HOW Pres.Obama utilised its every properties to win the election,his campaign was the 1st of its kind,small donations from around the world,etc.We need to get our stoner comrades outta jail or at least put in blocks with political status,the reason its a political issue is simply cos it is he govt thats banning it so its their problem,we gotta galvanise and organise the WHOLE MJ WORLD ON AND OFFLINE(granted this tskes time) .....


We need to either tell NORML to join with us or sink cos they have had their chance fo too long and draggd their heels on too many issues.Why cant us stoners get enough cash from an online global petition including donations so we can 'lobby' the govt on this subject,we should be contacting every Mmeber of parliament or the senate,etc and remind them that they (non tokers) are in the minority in most countries,in the UK i dont have many mates who DONT toke it,they are few abn far between but they are happy to be ignorant and ignore the possible alternatives and opportunities we have or can create to bring about change"YES WE CAN!"

I believe this idea started at GP and now as partners in "crime":angry7: growkind have joined the struggle for peaceful ghandi like demonstrations and petitions to UK,european and ameican govt;s,etc is the 1st of many small steps that hopefully will one day grow into huge strides and leaps for our cause.Im an activist at heart,i do my bit,i dont boast about it either,i wear my heavy gold link chain with bejewelled marijuaana leaf pendant and bracelet with pride,i even was wearing it at the birth of my son as most of ou saw at the time.


We need to set up a TRUST/COMMITTEE with a president and the president rotates on a yearly basis from another forum voted for by all the participating forums,no moe than 3 terms as pesident id say but these are small details,think outside the box here a little and WHAT IDEAS OR METHOS CAN WE USE THAT OUR BRETHERN TRIED AND FAILED WITH IN HE 60-70-80-90'S AND TO THIS DAY


tHIS IS AN AGE OF MORE TOLERANCE AND IF WE CAN JUST GET A SLICK BUT CHEAP YOUTUBE MARKETING CAMPAIGN GOING AND OTHER CHEAP,EFFECTIVE IDEAS TO GET PL TO JOIN UP AND SIGN THE PETITION THEN LETS DO IT AND ROM THERE WE CAN SET THE NEXT GOAL! From the ideas and the actual excitement im pickin up from Johnny and others like Snik and of course our growkind posse and the GP posse i think its a nw day its a new dawn and im feeling goooood:jj:.....about FINALLY creating a sutainable pro cannabis political party again here in the UK and elsewhere,lets get active,demonstrate,ask bands to do igs in aid of helping our coalition create a H.Q and for other essentials,put someone in charge who is wise in years with savvy political knowledge aswell as MJ plant knowledge....lol,we can hold our own elections for a nominee ,the only way to fight or destroy the machine that is the esablishemnt is from the inside,set of a bomb and let it implode.....and in the aftermath we CAN CHANGE things,Einstein said if an idea doesnt sound toally absurd from its conception then its not worth pursuing,this might sound aburd to think we can and will in our lifeime bring about change OURSELVES without govtand i believe by hook or by crook that cannabis in my lifetime will be fully legal.

I say every forum that joins the oalition should have a representitive,someone who aint a stereotypical stoner in the eyes of "them",someone who holds a respectable job or who has a uni egree or even a self employed entrepeneur....just ppl who can express and dedicate to the cause,its time for ppl to STOP keeping your weed smkin habit as youyr dirty litle secret,tell everyone and spread the word.Maybe even two reps per forum on a council who make the decisons and new ideas backed by thousands of forum emmebrs like us 1st things 1st,get a myspace,a facebook,whatever,just get a social networking page set up ,think up a name and apoint leaders either by voting or not and roll with this,im 30,i wanna be able to walk into shop in 15 years time and watch my son buy a packet of chem dog blunts and share them with me ,his old man who can tell him i was part of the vast network that brought about the downfall of pot prohibition via the internet and sheer bloody hard grafting cos it wont be easy but if im passionate abou summit i'll go all out,i'll refuse to pay my MJ fines in princial from this day onwards and will rather do the 7-14 days in prison just to make my point,a small price to pay in the war on prohibition:icon_wink:#

Aye snick thats why i donated,i dont mind paying a few bucks to keep a petition site running,they sent me an email today and i managed to send it out to all my MSN contacts but it didnt let me do it from my yahoo account,here is the email below they sent me and the first few million words is just a bit i added for all the ppl i was sending it to for reading,some of you guys are on my yahoo so thought id post it for you to see anyways..... This is an online petition calling for a national debate on the topic of marijuana prohibition and legalising cannabis aswell as the release of ppl who are in jail for MJ offences even though they have no previous criminal record for ANYTHING and most hold down professional jobs,civil servants govt jobs and blue collar workers aswell as white collar workers.A judge MUST send a person to prison ONLY if they A: are a danger to ANY member of the public or are a public nuisance/repeating criminal offender.... and B: A judge CAN/MUST send ppl to prison who show no signs of changing or ppl who are repeatedly going to commit the same offence over and over.


Cannabis users use it for mainly recreational useage like others do when they have a 'social drink' of alcohol or they use it PURELY for MEDICINAL use as they feel it aleviates their pain or anxiety better than pharmaceutical medications that carry awful side effects so the chances are a cannabis user who smokes for both these reasons WILL continue buying or growing cannabis therefore they will be considered 'repeat offenders' in the eyes of the law when they are simply just students,office workers,civil servants ,ppl from ALL walks of life and they have normal functioning lifes and families and are PART of society and pay taxes (which surely means they deserve a national debate or referendum on ending prohibition?) just like any other good citizen.


The govt has built up an image of cannbis users as ppl who are lazy and commit crimes to fund their marijuana smoking,this is propoganda,i know police officers and ppl in the law profession and social services jobs to name a few that are fully functioning ppl with great lives ,i know cannabis users who only smoke in their own home harming no one yet they are treated like animals/criminals and jailed due to smoking a herb that acts as a medicine,this is a fact and 12 states in America allow medicinal prescription or growing /useage of cannabis for health illnesses from multiple scerosis to glaucoma to anxiety and much more.Cancer sufferers say it alleviates MANY of their pains they feel.

Theres so so many ways hemp could create INDUSTRY and also help solve 3rd world hunger and it would give farmers in desolate places like the desets of africa and the world a job to do as the hemp plant is sturdy and can grow anywhere if given the right sunlight and water.Some of the worlds best loved poets,singers,ceative writers and lyricists were hemp smokers.President George Wshington told ppl to "sow the hemp seed everywhere",he had massive plantations in Virginia,was this man a criminal?No,but if he lived today he would be imprisoned for growing hemp or smoking it even though he was an honorable military man ,a father, a husband who was a god fearing christian too.There are ppl TODAY in our jails who are ppl with families who are religious and spiritual and are honourable ppl but they lie languishing rotting in jail for longer periods of times than paedophiles and burglars!!!
