Not possible. Keeping them at bay is not going to cut it. I'm telling you get the freakin' FloraMite and treat all vegging plants with that. Break their life cycle and then all you need to do is an occasional maintenance spraying on the veg plants and treat all plants that go into flower a couple times with something organic during the first couple weeks of flowering and you'll be fine.

I've sprayed flowering plants well into week 5 or 6 on a 9 week strain and as long as you're humidity levels in the room are not too high and you have adequate ventilation and air movement you won't have mold issues. As far as residual residue I've had no issues with either Neem Oil Or AzaMax (As I stated earlier Ofo). They are both Organic and contain the same active ingredient. They both break down and dissolve after about 7-10 days with no risidual residue. In fact Neem Oil has small amounts of usable nutrients which the leaves can absorb so it's like a pesticide as well as a foliar feeding. Beneficial if you ask me.

Or you can do like Resin said and spray with 3% or very slightly diluted 3%(some plants are more sensitive to being sprayed with H2o2 than others, I've burned plants with a 3% mix and 10% can be used a weed killer.) solution sprayed on all leaf and stem surfaces as well as all items and surfaces in the grow space. It wiil work pretty well with a few repeated doses to kill the PM and the dusting of Diatomaceous Earth will take care of the mites with very thorough and repeated treatments over the course of a week or so.

Powdered sulphur is a good one too. Can be dusted just like DE and is effective against both mites and PM and is Organic and can be easily rinsed off.

As for bringing in more mites.... I treated with Floramite and went over a year with no mites. I recently discovered them again but I knwo it was my own fault. I brought in clones from outside my grow again and once again I have mites. Treated with FloraMite twice about 4 days apart and haven't seen a creepy crawly since then. Provided I change my clothes after working outside or hiking and take just minor precautions like keeping my dogs and cat out of the grow space I don't anticipate seeing them again anytime soon. I will do some follow up treatments with Neem Oil and Ed Rosenthal to be sure but I fully stand by my treatment method. Treat the plants in Veg with Floramite Once or twice and be done with it. :passsit:

Mighty wash works well and you can use it right up until harvest. I'll alternate between Azamax and Mighty for several weeks after I bomb the room. knock on wood I' haven't seen any mites during my last two runs.

    cheers

Ridiculous price on that Mighty Wash. It's just ionized Water from what I understand. It doesn't list any ingredients on the bottle.

I completely agree. I bought one bottle out of desperation several cycles ago and yeah it was a bit on the expensive side but it did work though. It's not something that I'd buy again since there are other less expensive alternatives.

I just know from my point of vie that it takes at least 3-4 gal of solution for me treat every plant in my setup from veg to flower and at something like $30 per gallon it's expensive. I would have to spend $90-$120 Just for a single treatment and in my experience it takes at minimum a couple applications of anything to deal with a given infestation. So a total cost of $180-$240 IS RIDICULOUS! At $275 per quart, Floramite is a much better deal!, It'll make something like 378+ gallons of solution. That comes out to $1.78 per gallon! :passsit:
