Looking nice. Heat sucks and sometimes you just have to play it out. No a/c's allowed in the UK? :roffl: If you don't want them to get so tall with the long wait. top them. You'll get shorter, fatter plants and more bud sites.
Its feeding time in the room of weed. Day 35 The heat is still taking the piss. Had temps of 38 degrees last week. Some of the plants are taking it well. NL*SK doesnt seem bothered. The G Bomb is struggling, getting thick heavy dark green leaves and the buds arnt filling up too good, but what can you do heres the room A little closer up. They are starting to bulk up nicely!
FUCK YEAH skuzz maistro! All us clean freaks can STOP squinting you are a true iconoclast :not-worthy:
lol. I was expecting a bunch of scrawny buds. Those are looking REAL nice. Seems they're dealing with the heat pretty well. You guys always fuck me up. 38. Shit I thought, it's been 95-101 with wicked high humidity, then, BAM, he's not in the U.S. 38 to us is almost freezing.
Well we all knew it was going to happen, but knowing its going to happen doesnt make that kick in the nuts any less painful!!! Ive got mold :icon_confused: I've caught it early. Removed a few buds, so now we're playing the waiting game. Hopefully i can get these to 7 weeks. If i can pull that off i'll be happy PS I fucking hate this heat!
Not again? I didn't notice, do you have a fan blowing on them? I always have at least one fan blowing at bud height to keep all moisture away from building up or lasting long and I only lost one part of a plant and that was a while ago.
Mold sucks!! Now I have to ask because I've never had a mold issue, is it caused from too much heat, too much humidity or both? Other than the cost of new hoods is there a reason your not running vented hoods? Seams to me that would go a long way towards takin care of your heat issue. Either way man that's some nice looking buds you have there. Good luck getting a handle on the mold.
yeah there is a fan in there. the problem isnt the tent, its the room the tent is in. I have to exhaust into the room. I cant go through the walls or anything, that means im exhausting into the same room as the intake. it doesnt normally happen until week 8 or 9 so i normally cut stay away. Unfortunately this time its week 5 due to the rediculous heat and humidity. we have had over the last two weeks. This is the north of england and this shit shouldnt be happening!!!
Its the humidity. Heat alone wont cause mold. But heat and humidity and you have a problem! New hoods wouldnt fix it. The issue is ventilation, which isnt possible
Is there a closet in the room? If so, I'd vent into that and keep the door closed, but I wouldn't put anything in it (clothes or boxes) as they would be covered in mold.
can you run a dehumidifier? If worried about power, set it on a timer when the lights are off. I hate mold, it really sucks when you have big huge buds a week or two from finishing then you see a glimpse of that shit. Looks like you need to read up on some BHO...never let shit go to waste
I run a sealed room so I have basically the same problem. I had to get a dehumidifier in order to reduce the humidity. No more mold issues for me. Just a little info for the newbs. Heat and humidity no good. That's a recipe for mold. However mold and Powdery Mildew specifically doesn't have to have heat to infest your room. In fact Powdery Mildew prefers cooler temps and can grow in relatively low humidity but high humidity will make it worse.
the dehumidifier would create more heat. Heat is my main problem, causing airy buds and stretched plants. This humidity shit happens one cycle per year and thats this one. Maybe two at most this year. so i just grin and bare it
Well ive had them all out today and they have been fully inspected. Been through all the buds and no more mold, that includes the one that had it already. So fingers crossed that may be it. I only need to get them through the next 2 weeks
