Gies, i dont know if you are from seeds direct or any of the others but badicly we offer 5 day delivery worldwide. With seeds direct ive heard people waiting 30 days + for delivery. You are the only one I see that is advertising. An envelope from the UK to the USA takes 5-8 days. If you were sending it express you would not be making any money, so I guess you are sending it regular mail? Seeds Direct has a very good reputation. If someone does not receive their order it is probably their fault. Maybe they didn't follow the ordering directions carefully enough, ect.. All I know is that I have several friends that ordered from Seeds Direct and I placed an order recently for NL#5 x shiva and Mango. If you want more business, lower your shipping cost to $5 and offer people an OPTION for fast delivery, don't just charge them for it. In fact, someone here already said that is the reason they didn't order from you; shipping was too expensive. To be honest with you, I would order from you if your shipping was cheaper. $10 for an envelope is too much. You can argue all you want about how they get there faster, but that should be an OPTION if people want to pay the extra money. Some of the best advice I could give you when running a business is to always give your customers options to choose from. There are a lot of spelling mistakes and grammar errors on your website that drive customers away. To represent yourself as serious and professional you need to be well spoken and spell every single word correctly. I reviewed your entire site and there were at least 4 MAJOR errors in both spelling and grammar. I am not trying to be mean to you, but people pay attention to things like that. Overall I think your website is very nice, but you need to re-write some of it and correct the spelling mistakes and grammar errors and lower shipping $5. If you do that you will be booming with business! I bet you will have three or four times more customers. I will help you with it if you want. I run a small business myself and I know what customers want. I'll help you re-work the website if you provide me with a free order of seeds. Let me know what you think. Thats exactly what piss me off about seedsdirect. The seeds are sent from the uk and there charge £5 postage in the UK and only $5 for postage to the US. I think quickseeds is charging a fair amount for 5 days to the US and we have several happy customers on this forum already. I have had a lot of dealing s with seedsdirect but i have never recieved the seeds in under 15 days with a cheqe so quickseeds are doing what they promises "quickseeds"!
EvilSkuzzy, I believe they charge more for UK orders because the risk of getting caught is higher and they have fewer orders in the UK. Most of there orders are from Americans.
Risk of getting caught? Getting caught doing what? It is perfectly legal to sell MJ seeds in the uk. You could put "Canabis Seeds Enclosed" in massive red writing on the envolope and there is nothing to worry about it. You ain't going to get into trouble for nothing!

eh? How they going to know you have received seeds? And even if they did know that you have received seeds thats your problem, i don't see why this makes it ok for seedsdirect to charge more for delivery in the UK rather than the USA. It just does not make sense. your saying then, that it is more likely that you will get caught growing MJ in the UK rather than in the US? Why is this?
How can you be shut down for selling products which are perfectly legal? Plus you would still have your shop in the dam!
I know its not. That was my origanal point! Why does seedsdirect charge more to post within the UK than it does to post to the US where they are breaking the law and paying for postage half way accross the world. Are the UK customers expected to cover the US expense with there high postage charge??
No idea about that. But, think about it for a minute. Wouldn't law enforcement in the UK be more concerned about criminals in the UK instead of the US? Obviously. And.. if someone buys seeds, they obviously intend to grow marijuana. If law enforcement was to obtain records of some sort or intercept packages that were sent out by seeds driect, they would be able to keep an eye on people who bought from them. So, there is actually less risk for them WHEN they ship to the US because UK authorities do-not care. My theory.
Yeah the cops are concerned about ppl growing weed in the UK but thats got nothing to do with seedsdirect getting closed down. They are doing nothing wrong and have no fear of any repercussions from the authorities. So why do they charge more for postage within the uk? Plus the police in the uk or any country have no way of obtaining any info of who has bought seeds. This means that they cannot intercept packages (which would be illegal anyways) or target ppl in receipt of seeds.
