Chaz; When you run your 3/8" line through the wall it's going to sweat and fuk up your dry wall. something to kick around.
Ya, I figured it would, but the size is 1/4 I believe, standard airline tubing but way stronger and more durable. I went to a different lowes up close to the city and he knew his shit, gave me a brand new cold line, the part to split it off, a shut off valve to the res, and explained to me how to hook it all up. I never knew how to use compression fittings until tonight! FML. O - Well, Since I've started this I've learned so much. I'll post up some pics once I got it flowing water.
Finally! I did it. a few compression valves, shut off valve, and new cold (flexable) water line with a compressed side to hook to the intake of my RO. I'll hook the waste line up tomorrow and hopefully should have it up.
Will this work as a shut off valve? The plastic compression fitting I already bought doesn't seem to reliable, I can pull the tubes out of the fitting very easily, I believe if pressure were to build up they would pop right out. So I went and bought this new piece. Will this work in place of my plastic compression shut off valve. On my RO system their or little plastic things that hold the tube in the compression fitting, this piece came with nothing like that, just plug the 1/4 line in. Edit: Nevermind I'm an idiot, I removed the plastic clamper. :BangHead::BangHead: Got the inlet working great. It luckily I have crazy strong water pressure, haven't measured it yet but has to be around 100 psi. I'll post up final pics when I get it installed. The hard work is over. Just have to install the waste line and all done! xD
YAY!!! I did it! Bout to test her out right now. Watch video in 1080P HD!
