Shackzilla, Amnesia Haze X Choc. Rain, Mad Shack - 12/12 from seed

Crazy, everybody absolutely loves that strain, and not just on this site, its also got a great rep at opengrow. I haven't had the joy of smoking it, but the Mad Shack is already my favorite plant in my tent. She's a fast producer, short and stocky, with a lot of trichs already. Can't wait to smoke her, here she is two days ago:

All is not well, as you can see below, most of the plants are N deficient and going yellow fast. The main problem is that they're root bound, should have definitely used bigger pots. To make things even worse, I have been slacking, not feeding them often enough. In an attempt to get them to green up a bit, I fed them the veg solution all week, but its probably too little too late. Live and learn, next round I'll be using bigger pots again. Here they are, looking yellow, but frosty and really putting on weight.

You constantly pump out fine bud. the fun of watching them plump up is awesome huh?

 

BigBud, its definitely fun at this stage, you can see the difference in the buds by the day. Another week has gone by and things are starting to get fun now. The formula strength was upped from 1/2 to 3/4th, with waterings every other day. Its a little strong for them, got some upward curling of the leaf edges, but nothing to worry about. Here's some shots of the garden before the lights came on:AH X CR pheno 1. A long cola in the making :5obsessed:AH X CR pheno 2. Short and stout, looks a lot like the Mad Shack or the Shackzillas in plant structure, but the bud structure is clearly differentMad Shack. Lookin good, chunking up fast, she's definitely gonna need some crutches soon to hold her fat ass up. I removed the lower fan leaves that were shading the bushel of secondary buds (damn you MrGreenjeans!).

Shackzilla, so far she is a real productive strain with impressive trich production. Can't wait to see what she looks and smokes like at harvest.Two Shackzilla plants of that seem to be of the same phenotype. Most of the plants seem to be of this phenotype. They grow pretty short, well at least in this 12/12 grow. The bud production is fast, and as you can see, very main cola dominant. This pheno would be excellent in a SOG setupCorrection, this bud is from the Mad Shack, not the ShackzillaPheno 2. This pheno stretched a lot more in flower and is bit taller than the ones above. Its still one cola dominant, but not as fast in bud and trich production as pheno 1. Looks like she'll need a longer flowering time also.

Ok here they are @ day 84 of 12/12 from seed. In the last week they put on a lot of weight, but its clear that some plants are gonna need longer then others. The smell of the Shackzillas seems to be changing now, it went from Dextrose smelling to a sweet and sour smell over the last week. Here's some pics from yesterday of all the girls

Amnesia Haze X Chocolate Rain, there's 3 different phenos. This one has a real impressive main cola, I'm hoping it will fill out a lot more








Another AH X CR pheno, it still has the curly leafes, but is making progress none the less. I figure the leaf curl is either genetic, or a sign of stress from the changing day/night temps, which are pretty drastic now that its getting cold.

ps, Good thing that I gifted the Thai99 that I grew for almost a year to a grower buddy of mine, now that my stash is getting so low, its good to have a grower buddy that owes a favor He's the only thing stopping me from chopping a few of these early....that would have been a shame

I liked the look of the bud so much, I didn't even notice the leaves. Stared right by them.

 

As some of you guys might already know- unfortunately the Mad Shack had some powdery mildew on it and was removed from the tent. She just got an emergency flush and I'm gonna proceed to remove all the leaves. So since she's gonna get a rather drastic hair cut, I figured its time to take some last pics of her, as long as she still looks good.
