Useless, you speak German too? Man... I'm tellin ya. Modern reniassance man this Useless :good job: :not-worthy: :not-worthy: :good job: :beerchug-2:
HAHA not bad my friend, its not an easy language so good job. Its time for me to be a smart ass, because for once and only once do I know something better than you...so I gotta gloat a little bit: "Dankeschön. Es war mein Vergnügen. Entschuldigen Sie meine Rechtschreibung, sie ist nicht sehr gut." Say Useless, is that LemonThai a strain that is available for purchase? Or is it one your many top secret clones :alien11:
@ All the German enthusiasts. I thought I was among the few people to appreciate German history, culture and language. Nutzlos kann nicht buchstabieren sehr gut, obwohl er nur konnte Rechtschreibprüfung und es wäre perfekt. Vielen Dank! (I used a translator . . . I don't speak German, but I love the way it sounds.) Great looking plants Useless. Those Thai plants are simply AMAZING! I spent some time in Pattaya Beach and Bangkok, back in the early `90's and I had this little Thai girl I was with get me some pot. I gave her $10 USD and she returned with a FULL paper bag of the strangest smelling and looking pot. It reeked of incense, which I thought was from the bag she used, but now I'm thinking it was the pot. It looked dark and brownish. Looks that I always thought were undesirable traits in a good pot. But, at the time I'd really never had "kind" green pot very often, so I was quite happy to be able to get any pot at all. I was in the Navy at the time and ANY MJ use would have gotten me an Other Than Honorable Discharge, for sure. So, I rolled up what I remember to be about 10 joints and gave her the rest back. She was THRILLED and I'm sure she made something off it after I left. Anyway, Me and a couple friends smoked a joint and none of us had smoked in months, if not years. Needless to say the exact way it all went down is sort of a blur, but I know we didn't smoke the entire joint before we were all so stoned we had no interest in smoking anymore. I remember we were VERY stoned and almost "trippin` high". The rest of the joints were sent back home in a box of clothes and I really don't remember smoking the remaining joints when I returned to the States, but I'm sure I did, otherwise there's possibly 9 Thai joints stashed in one of my old Navy boxes down stairs. My point is that I am VERY happy to see that I actually probably had some real deal Thai pot, and never realized it was because of the intense incense smell and unappealing looks. But, the high was AMAZING and I've only been that high a couple times, MAYBE, since then. Thanks for the trip down memory lane Useless. Great thread, I'll have this one on my watch list! Thanks for sharing the cool pics . . . I know it isn't easy to upload to :GK: these days . . . thanks for taking the time to allow us to view such beauty. Ohhhh hey . . . GREAT to see you around again MellowDood! Hope you can stop by more often.
Good to know HHHG. I know mine really reacted poorly when I gave them 4 ml of FNB. Just to compare, 4 ml FNB is the same as 50% Lucas formula with the 3 part. Which would provide approximately 50-50-100-30 (N-P-K-Mg). PharmDoc - I took two semesters in college. That was a long time ago. lol Link, thanks for the correction. Like I said, college was a long time ago, so I am sure I sounded like a german with down's syndrome right there. Or a caveman speaking german perhaps? lol The Lemon Thai is from Dutch Flowers, a now defunct seed maker. It is not a pure thai, it is certainly hybridized. I know Mota Rebel is working a lemon thai line, but I believe his stock comes from Elite Genetics, which would be F2's or F3's of the original's. I believe that line was bottle-necked towards the indica side. I have 3 females and 2 males all of which lean more to the sativa side. The smell and flavors range from tropical fruit/melon, citrus, spice and earth. I recently open pollinated them to preserve the line, and go through some of the siblings. The males also got to knock up the Dabney Blue. We'll see what happens with the extra seeds in a few months. RKY - I know I can't spell for shit. LOL Cool story.
OK a few pics for an update. DF Lemon Thai #5 (f) Casey Jones Dabney Puss Kush x Original Diesel Pre-98 Bubba Kush Katsu Bubba Kush Pregnant Katsu Bubba Kush Bud Overview - Enjoy!
The bud/calyx structure of the Lemon Thai and Casey Jones is too cool. Is that a unique characteristic of sativa-dominant strains? DP Skunk #1 was the most sativa strain I ever grew, supposedly 75% sativa, but mine didn't look like these.
Yeah, it's as if the main stem stops stretching but the top calyx continues and spits out one on top of the other with little/no bud leaves.
Very cool pics Useless. I love how the trich coverage extends all the way to the end of the fan leaves. I'm sure that will make for some kick ass smoke and also some top notch Bubble Hash. Great pics and thanks for sharing.
MD - Foxtailing like that is typically a sativa trait. They just stack calyxes on top of each other. I have seen some indica strains do that also, but usually it was because there is a light mover or they are rotating the plants, giving a different angle of light. Thanks HC. RKY - the bubble is great. And Thanks. Ofo - I have no idea who, if anyone carries a pure Thai. Maybe check Canna Bio Gen. I know ACE seeds has a few thai crosses using CBG's Meow Thai male. The landrace Thai I have, well, I will only say Jan 2011 is looking pretty interesting. asssit:
