Started my DWC set up today

well, I know when I used 1ml per gallon and then did the res change, I had very little slime, more like almost none, so I probably will stick with the 1ml per gallon, don't change your set up trying to see what happens, I don't want you to fuck up your plants. Was just wondering if anyone else did it different, or knew for sure.

 

Start of Week 1 of flowerOk, I changed my res today and added the nutes for the first week of flower, I did the 3 week of veg, switched to a 14 gallon tote with 8 gallons of water in it. So far so good. opcorn-2:

I got 4 other strains I started so I can get some better plants/clones on my next DWC set up, the C99's here are slow to grow, it might be the low wattage light mixed with set back from the Pre Bud deal I had, at least they are still alive...:coolbounce:

 

Yes, my last ones went 6 weeks, then I flushed a week. They were good. I never had this cloning problem thou, could be gen?


I don't test my water temp's thou. I don't think they could be that hot, they are inside with the ac set at 78 for room temp.


BB: Is your first set up from seed? I know you had the plant in soil but can't remember if it was a clone?

 

I was looking at the two c99 plants I just put into flower yesterday, there is thc cyrstals on some of the smaller leaves, which leaves me to believe they were maybe auto seeds to begin with? But like I said, I have white widow, mk ultra, original amnesia and underdog og, started so I can clone off of those for my next round of dwc, I am going to let all my c99 clones grow out and maybe get a different breeder of C99 seeds to see if I can get some better clones, but I have to say from seed they were great and even the clones were good but just took a lot longer to grow out.


Still after over 12 years of growing, I am learning new stuff everyday. It keeps me young...:thumbs-up:


So I will have a new DWC grow thread when I clone off the next round of strains, but will keep this one updated till it finishes.

 

I got 4 more seeds of the same breeder. So I will retry them after I get the rest of my new set up going and make sure all the bugs are fixed.


I am going to search and see if anyone else has had luck with cloneing off of the "Female Seeds C99". Could be just about anything, just trying to narrow it down.

Well with in the past few days of the switch to the 600w hps light and the new res change with the first week of flower nutes, the plants are stretching and looking good. amazing how they suck the nutes out of the water and you can see it when you change the res. This is cool. I def suggest it to anyone doing soil to try out. It's way easier than I thought. I figured I would have fucked up my plants by now, but like you all said, just follow the formula and a few other things and that's it.

Start of week 3 of FlowerSome new pic's after I did my res change. Start of week 3 flower. Plants are looking a lot better, they stretched out good, now time to bud. The root pics are of them sitting in the stand by tub while I mix the ferts in the deeper tub.

I ran C99 bx1 from Mosca Negra a few years back. I found a few pineapple phenos out of a 10 pack. They're kind of pricey now, but for an 8 week sativa, it's worth it.
