starting in maine

wow i had no idea u could grow a plant that size in a pot that small lol, are those the seedlings.. are they not getting root bound?

i know i asked that same thing but kinda got me to thinking since theres no answer *cough* maybe they are clones? if started from seed i wanna know what im doing wrong...

 

nah those were all started from seed. sorry guys lost the thread while I was busy pretending I was a real adult and working. I learned for about the fifty thousandth time do not drink and drive.anyway they were all started from seed and they were from 15" to 32". I transplanted them over into 3 gallon buckets, and spread out 6 in the closet and yes indeedy, I put 6 out yesterday.I know the pics stink but I have to learn what SUN does. It is so rare here Anyway that is the 32 inch orange bud on the porch. I cloned about 12 more and I am hoping I have figured out a way to put an end to my dearth of herb. Will unroll that when I have it set up to my liking.

Yeah they stretched wicked, so I figured it was good enough, and time to put them out of the house to earn their own way in the cold cruel world. Man I never thought I would pass a piss test in my life, but I hope to end that here pretty quick too. They smell delightful and are mighty sticky to touch. That is a good sign in my book.:thumbsup:

 

Hey Berry aint that a house in the background in the last pic? How do you get away with Pot plants outside with neighbors that close?

Berry your plants look Great I hope the sun starts to shine soon up there in No mans land { Maine that is No pun well maybe a little one}.I keep my plants in solo cups till they preflower but damn girl you got monsters in those cups .Good luck.

He doesn't call the cops on me and I don't on him or his kids, who are all my age or older for the most part. He stole that land his house is on from my people, so since 1977 there has been a mutual hate fest going on ever since. The other fact is that burial mound blocks them from his view for now. Always before the white building was back there but it got moved when the septic went in last fall, so I am working to find the sun and a place where they aren't sticking out like sore thumbs, but for the most part everyone around here already knows I am a lose cannon and they just leave me alone. I honestly don't think he really gives a damn, and I don't care if he does. I guess I figure if I don't act like I am doing something wrong then chances are no one will care, and....and it is a big and... there is never anyone here but me and T, and I don't sell any so there is no reason for the sheriff to come back here, heheheheh

don;t you just love that!!! Honestly when they were having elections, I stole one of the campaign signs and stuck it in my little isolated yard for about a year. I talk for my dogs, so the joke was that my oldest dog, sadie, was going to call donna and report dog abuse, and then she would call the aspca and join their summer program for youth in asia.


Really when I was really sick, they were back here more than they wanted to be, and it was always a fight, sooooo... I think she would just assume leave me be since it has been nice and quiet now since 1995, and why rock the boat. Shhhhhhhh but not only that, their own soninlaw is manufacturing on their daughters land sooooo seems like things closer to home to pay attention too.


I keep to myself, and I honest believe as long as it is very clear I am not selling just growing for my own head, wtf? there is the medical law, and even if they have it written so no doc would dare use it, I figure I will take full advantage of it, and if they want to put me in jail, well just between you me and the doorpost, I would have to be put in a federal pen because of my background and that would cost the state more than they would want to shell out for my piddly little patch. That said, it is wicked cold in here in the winter, so what are three hots and a cot to me for a while? could save up to build a new house from my prison job

Thanks for the compliment. I look at like skunky's buds and I just feel like I must have a black thumb. I have never in my life grown anything with frosty good looks like he has. Yeah I have grown some kickin' shit but damn nothing I would get on a calendar or something similar.


I have "high" hopes for this summers grow. All of you guys and gals on the site have really helped me move past the regular rag weed schwag I was growing from bag seed. I sat on many forums, like overgrow and never got involved, and what I have discovered is the more involved in the site the better the herb I can grow. I have learned loads of simple tips to just make it that much better, and well Thanks to all of you.....:thumbsup: wish I could just send the ones who helped a sample but well we know that the mail dicks object to that. sooooooooooooooooooooo I guess pictures is the best way to share.

And yes time to put them into the soil to spread their wings...lol roots as they are strong enough now to make it IMO. Hopefully the frost is in the past but you are much north of me so ughhh. You could always cover them if you think you have a night that will be low low temps although I have learned they are much stronger then we think.


Usually the bad ass storms you get and the ones I get are worse then frost.....hoping for a CALMER summer and NO NorEastern's girlie!!


Proud of how far you came and you have a green thumb....just didn't know it was all. Now you have the confidence to grow and Lukesmommy is right, your winter will be plentiful this year!

 

have had high winds and frost warning the last few nights so I took the girls into the tool shed for today since it is suppose to be nasty and rainy here on the coast. I noticed that the two strawberry coughs are turning a very pretty color of strawberry. That must be a good sign first time it has happened in 5 grows. Anyway I tried to get a picture of it but it is sort of blurred but you get the idea.

I have two strawberry coughs and when the temps went down to almost frost temps, the top leaves coming out turned purple. I can't wait until, they start budding.
