I never said I didn't believe in the teachings of Christ. I just believe that the Christian religion has interpreted things incorrectly.

Actually I did. I've seen it time and again and it just proves my point that Christians today are in it to prove they're right rather than live by the teachings of Christ. That's the very same attitude that my own family exhibits and quite frankly it makes me wanna If you get off on things like this then you're in it for the wrong reasons IMO. You might want to spread your beliefs by actions rather than by words. I know for a fact that it gets you much farther with those who sit the fence line. Arrogance has been and always will be the downfall of Christianity.

I have known and still know many Christians who actually DO get off on making sure everyone knows THEY are right and everyone else is wrong. The whole time they are not practicing what they preach. It's a very sore spot for me and the main reason I started thinking outside the box to begin with. Once I did that....I started seeing just how I was hooked into the bullshit as well.


I know the life man...as I said...I lived it. I have an insiders view of what really goes on in that particular religion. That's not to say there aren't some who truly see it for what it is and practice it on a daily basis.....but the majority just think THEY are right and to Hell with anyone that says otherwise. They close their minds and then proceed to look down their noses at the rest of humanity.


I know missionaries, preachers, etc etc etc. I was damn near molested by someone who was VERY highly respected in the church...revered even. I too looked at this man for years as being someone I was supposed to emulate. Then I saw him for what he really was...I was 13.


I won't debate the interpretation of the Bible nor will I debate what people should or should not do. I believe that doing right by people is what we're supposed to be doing. If we all did just that one little thing no wars would ever have to be fought. Follow the golden rule and do unto others.....the rest is all man-made shit that I have zero need for in my life. As I said...when I die I'll know if I am right or not. So will you.

Good thread, this might of been said but I rather read my new Dexter book then all those posts, lol.


What happens if your faith is wrong? What if you wasted so much of your time devoted to your church. Just to finally die alone somewhere and realize as your taking your last breath on earth, damn this is it no hell no heaven just this LIFE that I never even lived to the fullest cause my bible said not to. Then you die and BLANK..........


I am not afraid to die, I accept that this is it thanks to science and common sense of watching way to many funerals.

Here is what I believe....women give birth and yes we will die. Where we go....not sure but it surely would have to be nicer then it is here?


My grandmother used to tell us this is hell and then there is heaven....she believed in jesus or god but never preached or shoved it down our throats.


My dad thinks he will come back as a plant, tree, bird or animal. :thumbsup:


Hopefully I will come back and be a dolphin that plays in the ocean.
