The person I gave them to is crazy flaky and I only end up seeing him about 1 of every 5 times we make plans. Is there anything else you need? I have some pumps, thermometers, humidity meters, ducting, panda plastic, etc etc in my parents' basement that I don't plan on moving. Only condition would be if you want multiple pumps I'd like one back if this move doesn't work out. If I break up with my girlfriend I'm totally gonna want to grow a bit and I'm way too lazy to haul water by hand.
I understand ya. I can't think of anything at the moment other than the ph and light meter. I don't plan on hydro for at least a couple years, so I couldn't think of needing a pump atm. I could set up a drip system, but everything is going to be getting different nutrients. Lighting and smell control for my veg, room are what I am looking into... My vegging plants smell skunkier than the Kush. Unless I stick my nose in my flowering tent...
You don't need a light meter. That's just a toy for making DIYs. if you want to check out lumen output just read the chapter of the bible on lighting like I told you. It has a spreadsheet for how many lumens are getting to the plant based on bulb type and how far away it is, and for flowering you can basically assume the florescent lighting is negligible. I already sold or gave you all the lighting I had I think. If you want more I could give you suggestions on how to get it really cheap but that's about it. Oh, as for smell control I DO have a small 4" carbon filter I gave to my friend that he's not using (his 4" fan is louder than his sixes and he's more worried about sound than smell) but that's about it. If you want that one too just let me know and it's yours.
If I could run a squirrel cage fan to the filter, that would be awesome. There wouldn't be a ton of air flow, but it would at least allow me to completely seal my veg room. The temps aren't bad on the veg side, so it might work. I know I need to upgrade a bit, but I'm not planning on having everything until a few more grows. I know I need to control smell getting out my window, though. Even with a negative ion generator on the a/c unit it won't be 100%. It's about 90% right now and I'd like 98%...
End of week 1 for Sour and ReConIt has been a week since I took my last pics, so I figured I would submit an update. These girls look like they are loving the light and nutrients they have been getting (Even though they could probably stand more). I feel like a proud papa right now...These girls got me fired from my last job. How the fuck are you supposed to go and house sit out of town, and not bring your youngest ones with you? Oh well... fuck em. They were old. They should have understood the whole medicinal reason to have something. I just prefer natural, or pharmaceuticals. HPS was lowered to plants a bit more. Room sits at 66 degrees the majority of the time light is on now. Light is now 15 inches above the buds. I found out from my written journal that white hairs only began forming about 5 weeks ago. The bigger fan leaves look like shit in the last flowering pic, but the buds seem to be forming nicely now. It's only a matter of time before I can buy everything I need to grow amazingly (In my opinion at least). Who knows? This flowering Kush could turn into something amazing! I got plenty of time to go! The blueberry still has it's leaves rolling under. I used dolomite and water to stabilize the pot two days ago. It's only on one of them, but maybe it's time to transplant.
Yeah the one comment i would have added from seeing your earlier pictures was to suggest your lights be lowered ,your leaves werent too perky looking.Its trial and error really,well for me it was.Remember its a weed and it dont need too much tinkering with,just give it as close to optimum outdoors as you can and enjoy the results.You have got a scope right?
A lot of the perk was taken out by the light and heat stress early on. It's starting to come back around, but I noticed it was delayed a bit. My friend who came over and helped me with my lights, also told me that I should assume it's going to be in week 5 mode for a little bit and I should feed it accordingly. Full strength nutes have seemed to be working well, but my plant would not have taken this early on. A scope is the next thing I plan on getting. I figured since the hairs are still very white, I still have some time left. I'll post my week 2 pics following this comment.
End of week 2 for Sour and ReConThere are a few modifications that have been made to my vegging area.-There is now a 125w Blue AND a 125 w Red in the veg room (The red will be replaced by a 200w daylight spectrum once I can sell some of the medicine).-The left side of my room is setup for four plants to be put into two gallon pots (I felt like I couldn't transplant, because I didn't have a second light to give the bigger plants. Also, the bigger pots won't fit under the lights on the right side). I'm going to transplant them today. Here are the Kush pics that I managed to take clearly. The blueberry seems to be going a yellowish color, and I have been battling gnats and mites. I treat regularly with neem oil and am letting my soil completely dry out now. I didn't think you were supposed to let them dry out completely before watering... Looking good though man! That aughta turn out nicely.
It's for the gnats. A friend of mine told me to let the soil dry out completely, and it should help. It's just one of hundreds of things I have been told in regards to handling pests. Maybe it has something to do with making the plant LOOK less healthy than it is. Not sure if it works, but my plants ain't dying... They seem to like what's been happening so far... Since I posted, sand has been put on the top two inches of all the vegging pots. This covers the soft dirt, that they dig into for the roots.

Beginning of a flowering. Decided to update the journal now, since I remembered.The plants look like they are going to have fun! It has been almost 28 days since I got the ReCon and Sour Diesel Clones. They are coming right along. The smaller Querkle and the two Sativas will be transplanted into two gallon pots in a few days or so. Until that happens, the BB x TW has the mini CFLs and a 125w CFL to itself. I am looking at the Kush plant and I think it's in between week five and six still. What do you guys think? Thanks guys! I'm getting really excited for this! The plan is to have the indicas on a 30 day harvest cycle, and the sativas on a 45-60. The Sativas won't be put into flower until I have a little more juice than just the 600 w HPS. Probably after the Querkle is done and sold off. The other BBx TW will be put into flower in another 30 days, after the clones have had a chance to get rooted and established. They've been in the little chamber for a few days now...

End of week 5 veg for SD, RC, and QuerkleThe plants were transplanted one week ago, and huge growth has been noticed! The plants are receiving full strength Fox Farm nutrients now at twice a week. The plants love it! It is also the end of week 7 for the BB x TW. I am having to raise the lights daily now, and I'm not sure how well this plant will fit into my flowering room in a few weeks. The Magic Kush is at week 7 of flower, so it is still a while until the big red pot can be removed from the room.Two of my clones have taken root and I believe it is the two BB x TW clones I took last week.
